When temperatures climb throughout a large portion of the northern hemisphere, it may be difficult to find a place of sanctuary from the sweltering heat. This is particularly true for stray dogs that are without homes.
However, happily for this stray cat, a safe home was discovered in the invigorating compassion of the generosity shown by a stranger.
Rayan Algamadi recently uploaded a film that was captured inside his electronics store in Saudi Arabia, a location that is currently being affected by the heatwave. In the video, Algamadi observes the disheveled cat pawing anxiously at the front door, pleading with Algamadi to let it come inside.
It’s a good thing that Algamadi didn’t miss the cat’s pleading eyes and ears. In spite of the fact that he had the option to refuse her entrance, he offered her a place inside to get some relief from the heat.
In the video, Algamadi exclaims, “Welcome, welcome,” to the audience. “She is eager to get access. Just do it. Please make yourself at home. Do you agree that the sun is really hot today? Please make yourself at home.”
And the cat’s sense of contentment and appreciation for it may be felt to a certain degree:
In a comment that he left on his own page, Algamadi said that in addition to a protected space where it could get some air conditioning, the cat was also given food and drink. She had gone to the correct person and location in order to get assistance.
