Jamie Foxx is making progress in his recovery.
Corinne Foxx, the daughter of an Academy Award winner for acting, released a post on Instagram on Wednesday, in which she revealed that her father is making a full recovery after experiencing a “medical complication” on Tuesday.
In a statement that was released on behalf of the Foxx family, Corinne revealed that “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.”
“Fortuitously, as a result of prompt action and excellent treatment, he is already well on his road to recuperating. “We are aware of how cherished he is, and we thank you for praying for him,” the statement says. “The family asks that their request for privacy be respected during this difficult time.”
The request for a statement was not immediately met with a response from a spokesperson for Foxx.
The actor, who is now 55 years old, was most recently seen on the set of the new Netflix movie Back In Action, which also stars Cameron Diaz. Back In Action will be released later this year. The highly anticipated movie will be the first time that Diaz will be seen in a leading role on the big screen since the remake of Annie in 2014, in which Foxx also had a role.
A source revealed that the Charlie’s Angels actress and Jamie Foxx “have great chemistry” on production, despite the fact that Netflix has been tight-lipped about the specifics of the storyline for Back in Action.

The actor celebrated his birthday in December by uploading a retro black-and-white picture of himself when he was a youngster, and he reflected on his childhood while doing so. This was done before the beginning of the shooting.
He captioned the photo, “Dis big head boy bday and thanks for all the bday shouts #sagseason if it’s my birthday it’s your birthday,” referring to the fact that if it’s my birthday, it’s also your birthday.
