Do you picture the iconic image of the couple hugging and kissing at the airport when you think of the narrative of your favorite romantic comedy? A number of movies, including “Casablanca,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” “Love Actually,” and “The Wedding Singer,” feature couples declaring their love for one another in public places such as airports. One couple in Los Angeles, California, demonstrated that a love similar to that shown in movies is not only possible, but also very genuine. Although most couples may only hope for a love story like this, this pair showed that it is possible.

When Malia Farley’s aircraft landed at Los Angeles International Airport in January 2014, she was greeted with the most unforgettable surprise of her life. She was taken aback when, as she walked through the airport in search of her boyfriend, Austin James Dyche, she saw that numerous of their mutual acquaintances were also with him.

Before Farley moved to Monrovia, California, from Anaheim, California, ABC News reports that she and Dyche were involved in a relationship despite the fact that they were geographically apart. In point of fact, the long-distance relationship between the pair lasted for three and a half years out of the total four and a half years that they were together.

It is reasonable to assume that Farley was overjoyed when she spotted her lover waiting for her outside the baggage claim area after she had cleared security. But what the young lady didn’t know was that her boyfriend had a plan up his sleeve, and that plan encompassed six of their best friends: Ethan, Jake, Cameron, Evan, Justine, and John.

When Farley was eventually able to make it to Dyche, the latter had a very pleasant surprise in store for her: a musical proposal! It is a beautiful gesture in and of itself to ask someone to marry you at an airport, but Dyche went above and beyond by ensuring that the background music reflected the loving bond that he and Farley had developed over the course of their time together. In February of 2014, Dyche presented the proposition that had been made on January 19th in a video that was published to his channel on YouTube. He put the following in the video’s description:

Throughout the course of their relationship, Austin had created six songs especially for her to commemorate a variety of special milestones. As part of their proposal, six of their closest friends each sang a snippet of each song, in addition to the brand new song that had been composed just for the conclusion.

In addition to the six friends that were in the group, there were a few additional pals who helped out behind the scenes, including Erick, Paul, and Jimmy, who were also responsible for the editing.

In the clip, Farley was seen making her way through the airport while being serenaded by a group of her pals with songs that Dyche had composed. The songs included “The Distance,” “Bliss,” and “Hello Malia (Touch the Sky),” to name a few of their names.

Last but not least, Farley made her way to Dyche, who, after cordially accepting her luggage from her, proceeded to give her a bear embrace. Dyche lifted Farley into the air and spun her around while she was singing a song that had the phrase “marry me.” Dyche dropped down on one knee as the song was coming to an end and handed out a ring box for the audience to see. Already in tears, Farley responded with an enthusiastic yes, which clinched the couple’s engagement.

In the caption of the film, Dyche expressed gratitude to everyone who had a hand in bringing the idea to reality. Almost 71,000 people watched the video, and many of those viewers left encouraging remarks for the happy couple. “Real Romance still exists! I am grateful that you posted!!! “, a single author said. Another individual complimented Dyche on the exceptional quality of his songs and said, “I have never seen a marriage proposal that was as intriguing and passionate as this one!” ”

The happy pair shared a video online in October 2015, in which they announced that they will soon be commemorating one year of marriage. It would seem from Dyche’s Instagram that they are still very much in love and living happily together now.
