Goose has always had a loud, howling-like bark, according to the employees at the Adopt An ANGEL animal sanctuary, who have known him for his whole life.

According to Jill Jones, director of Adopt An ANGEL, who was speaking to The Dodo, “He’s got a hound bark that could seriously win contests.”

Jones claims that Goose’s yaps and grunts are directly related to his emotions. Jones said that if the boy felt worried or abandoned, he would let out a scream. “If he’s not talking, it’s because he’s enjoying himself,” you may say.

Yet by the time Goose reached his third term at the rescue, his life had become more miserable than it had been pleasant.

Goose wailed after being taken in by the shelter for the first time as a wounded puppy. He had been removed from his mother at the time of his admission. When his original adoptive family brought him back as an adult, the staff believed that he had been pining away for them the whole time.

Shortly after that, Goose found a new home with a young couple, but their adoption was short-lived since their relationship broke up. Then when the pair decided to go in different directions, one of Goose’s parents gave him up to the animal shelter without the other one being aware of it.

“[His dad] went to Florida and had no knowledge that Goose was here with us in North Carolina,” Jones added. “He was surprised to find out that Goose was living with us.” “Neither did we realize that he was roaming around out there,” she said.

The third time around, Goose’s cries at the shelter were considerably more audible than before.

Goose was immediately included in an adoption fair since the staff members were aware that he need a family with whom he could remain for the rest of his life.

According to what Jones claimed, “it just so happened that one of [Goose’s dadclosest ]’s friends walked into the adoption fair.”

Goose had been without an ear ever since he was a puppy, and the guy who found him instantly knew him despite having never seen him before.

“He was like, ‘Oh my God! “I simply began emailing [Goose’s dad] and asking him, ‘Goose, what are you doing here?'” Jones said.

When Goose’s dad found out that his dog was once again in the shelter, he was startled. In spite of the fact that he couldn’t take Goose in himself, he was certain that his family should adopt the affectionate puppy.

Jones said that the man’s response was something to the effect of, “Let me figure this out so that I can get Goose out of the shelter and bring him back.”

Goose’s dad made the trip from Florida to North Carolina in less than four days, and they were finally able to reconnect with their long-lost pet.

Goose, who is often the most vocal dog at the shelter, became utterly mute when it was time for him to get re-acquainted with his owner.

Jones said that it seemed as if the man was trying to convey the message “I know that my folks are here, therefore there’s no need to yell.” “All I was doing was yelling for my folks,” she said.

Goose didn’t make a sound, but the employees could tell by his eager leaps that he was delighted to see his father again even if he didn’t utter a word.

After the conclusion of their get-together, Goose and his dad embarked on their very first vacation together, a road trip to Florida. When Goose’s grandfather made the kind promise to provide the little dog with a forever home, the canine has been living there ever since.

Goose is said to be doing rather well in Florida, where his owner, Jones, reports that he spends his days watching canine relatives and frolicking in a brand-new fenced-in yard of his own. Jones is happy to learn that Goose no longer has a valid cause to weep now that he is gone, despite the fact that she will miss him.
