Stephanie Reddick, who was married to the late actor Lance Reddick, has expressed gratitude to the mourners who are honoring the cherished performer in the wake of his passing at the age of 60.

According to prior reports from Yahoo Entertainment, Reddick passed away on Friday. He was most known for his many performances in the John Wick film series as well as in critically acclaimed television shows such as The Wire, Oz, and Lost. Reddick “passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes,” according to a statement sent by the actor’s publicist, Mia Hansen, and published on Yahoo.

Stephanie Reddick, who married the actor in 2011 and shares daughters Yvonne Nicole and Christopher with him, penned a letter that was put to her husband’s Instagram account. In the post, she referred to the actor as “Lance,” and said that he was “taken from us way too soon.”

She followed by saying, “Thank you for all of your overwhelming love, support, and lovely tales that have been shared on various platforms over the last day.” “I am so appreciative to have access to your messages that I don’t even know where to start expressing my thanks.”

Continuing on, Stephanie thanked the “thousands of Destiny gamers that played in particular respect to Lance, thank you.” She did so by referencing the significant role that Lance had in the video game that has become a fan favorite. She continued by saying, “Lance loved you as much as he loved the game,” while putting a still from the game depicting his character, Commander Zavala, in her picture series.

She completed her remarks by informing the audience that contributions may be given to MOMCares, an organization located in Reddick’s hometown of Baltimore that assists moms and families there.

In the comments section of Stephanie’s article, both fans and coworkers expressed their sympathies for her loss. Terry Crews, an actor, reacted by posting a sequence of love emojis, while Ming-Na Wen, an actress, referred to Reddick as “a great soul.” Halle Berry, who appeared with the actor in John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum, has said that he is “one of the most honest individuals I’ve ever encountered.”
