There is a good chance that Reese Witherspoon has discovered a remedy for the Sunday jitters. The Little Fires Everywhere actress, Betty Reese, and her mother, Betty Reese, 74, and her daughter, Ava Phillippe, 23, went out for brunch on Sunday, September 18, and the trio was all smiles as they posed for a picture three generations deep looking extremely similar. Ava Phillippe is the actress’s daughter.
Witherspoon stated in the caption for a photo she posted on Instagram, “Sunday Brunch team.” She also included emojis of a pink heart, an egg being cooked on a skillet, and an avocado in her post.
In the picture, the actress from Legally Blonde is seen wearing a white button-up shirt, and her kid is also seen wearing a white top of the same color. As this was going on, Betty chose to wear what looks to be a blue shirt with a matching cardigan put over the top of it.
The picture received a lot of affection from followers, with one person saying “Awww 3 gorgeous girls” in response to it. Others, including a follower who referred to the ladies as “triplets,” saw the striking similarity that existed between the women.
This group of three has collaborated in the past on a stunning picture for Vogue. The session took place on a beach, and they all wore their hair pulled back in a manner that was synchronized with one another.
The caption accompanying the photo provided readers with some information on Betty’s history. “Betty, was an employment nurse at Nashville’s Vanderbilt hospital, and Witherspoon recalls going to work with her and seeing her ‘take care of seventeen infants at once,'” it said. “Witherspoon remembers going to work with her and watching her ‘take care of 17 babies at once.”
Phillippe, on the other hand, has been photographed on a few red carpets as of late and looks to be doing some modeling work in addition to the art that she occasionally uploads on her account. In recent weeks, she has been attending a number of high-profile events.
Witherspoon is a mother to three children: Phillippe, whom she has with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe; Deacon Reese Phillippe, who is 18 years old; and Tennessee James Toth, who is 9 years old; both children she shares with her current husband, Jim Toth. The actress from The Morning Show posts several photos of her coworkers on her Instagram account.
As we look at these pictures that depict Ava, who is now 23 years old, we can’t help but notice how much the young woman resembles her mother.
