Nicole Kidman, who plays the lead role in “Bombshell,” is a doting mother to four children. Faith and Sunday were added to the family after she married country music superstar Keith Urban, while her two eldest children, Connor and Bella, were born while she was in a relationship with actor Tom Cruise. Her two youngest children, Faith and Sunday, were born after she divorced Keith Urban.

Kidman said in an interview with Vanity Fair that she has passed on her Christian faith to her three younger children, and despite the fact that their peers make fun of them for going to church on a regular basis, they continue to do so. Her private life has never been apart from religion, and not only Catholicism in particular.

Kidman has been in a multitude of critically acclaimed movies and television programs throughout the course of her career. Some of these projects include “The Hours,” “Rabbit Hole,” “Big Little Lies,” and “Nine Perfect Strangers.” Her remarkable professional success has brought a great deal of attention to her personal life, and her first marriage was not an exception to this trend.

Tom Cruise, star of the television series “Mission: Impossible,” is one of the most well-known members of the Scientology religion. He was the one who got fortunate. The former couple first saw one another in 1989 while working on the set of “Days of Thunder,” and they hit it off immediately.

They decided to have a family immediately away after being married in 1990, which was just a year after their first encounter, and they were eager to have more children. Kidman became pregnant not long after she said “I do,” but unfortunately, she had an ectopic pregnancy and ended up miscarrying the kid.

Both Kidman and Cruise’s lives were profoundly altered as a result of the traumatic encounter. They were still interested in having children, so in December 1992 and January 1995, they adopted a girl named Isabella and a boy named Connor.

Both children became Scientologists as they grew up after joining their parents Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman household via the Church of Scientology. In 2001, the actress once again became pregnant, but she was unable to carry the pregnancy to term. In the latter part of that year, Cruise initiated the divorce process.

Isabella and Connor remained with Tom Cruise and the Scientology movement, and Kidman was allegedly dubbed a Suppressive Person. A Suppressive Person is an adversary of the Church who impedes the growth of other Scientologists or the Scientology movement.

It is said that since Kidman was labeled a Suppressive Person in Scientology, her relationship with her children became tenser. These days, they don’t spend much time together anymore.

On the other hand, the church, Kidman, and her children have all expressed their belief that religion was not a factor in this matter. In 2014, Connor expressed his affection for Kidman and referred to their partnership as “rock-solid.”

The actress once said that her children were adults capable of making their own choices and added that she respected their views by keeping their lives private. She also stated that she respected her children’s ability to make their own judgments.

Kidman has said that Isabella resides outside of London since she has always had the identity of an English person. Although she was unable to attend her daughter’s wedding to IT expert Max Parker in 2015, the “Aquaman” actress was able to reconnect with both of her children while she was recovering from the coronavirus outbreak.

Connor made his home in Clearwater, Florida, in the year 2022. In addition to his position as a leader in Scientology, he also owned and operated a barbecue restaurant known as Connor’s Meat Shack. Also, he is a deep-sea fisherman, and in 2019, he supposedly tied the knot with another Scientologist named Silvia Zanchi.

For example, Bella works for the United Kingdom congregation of the Church of Scientology as an auditor. She thanked her father for helping her accomplish such a remarkable achievement by taking to social media to express her gratitude.

It’s possible that Kidman’s connection with her biological children isn’t the greatest it might be, but things have improved significantly with her new family. On June of 2006, she wed country music superstar Keith Urban, and two years later, in 2008, she gave birth to her daughter Sunday.

In 2010, the couple welcomed their second daughter, Faith, into the world via the process of gestational surrogacy. While Kidman and Urban would rather keep their girls out of the public eye, they do sometimes post pictures of them on their own social media accounts.

To commemorate Memorial Day in 2021, Urban posted a picture on his Instagram account showing his wife and children standing with their backs to the camera while facing a folded American flag.

Due to the fact that the actress’s children have lived in a variety of places, she acknowledged that they are “global children” who have friends all over the globe. She went on to say that

“My girls moan that they have to travel a lot since that is kind of their lifestyle, but we keep our family together, and that is the most essential thing,” I told them.

Kidman has expressed her sorrow that she did not have more children given how much she enjoys being a mother. Nevertheless, reality had other ideas for her and only allowed her to have one child at a time.

Because of problems with her fertility, she could only have a maximum of four children. She now “has the opportunity to mother” other children, including her niece, her nephew, and her twelve godchildren.

The actress from “Being the Ricardos” said that one of the reasons she like working with children was because they were unique, hilarious, and “unfiltered.” In addition to this, she takes pleasure in seeing them mature and go their own ways.

Despite the fact that Kidman was raised in an Irish Catholic household, it is possible that she was a member of the Church of Scientology for a decade when she was in a relationship with Tom Cruise.

Her grandmother was “extremely Catholic,” and she learned to pray from her. Her grandmother also gave her a cross that was encrusted with diamonds, and she wears it almost all the time. Kidman previously said that she was a spiritual person who “definitely” believed in God and that her belief had never wavered.

The actress went so far as to say that she had always wanted to become a nun. She described herself as being “extremely pulled” to that line of work, but in the end, she chose to pursue a career as one of the most successful actors in Hollywood.

Kidman does not shy away from publicly discussing her religious convictions, despite the fact that many of her close friends often make fun of her for doing so. Despite this, she makes it a point to regularly attend worship services with her family since she and Urban want their girls to have a strong faith. She went on to Explain:

During Jimmy Fallon’s program in 2021, Kidman revealed the moment she realized Urban was the one she should be with. On the morning of her birthday, he arrived with flowers, and “that was all there was to it.”

It is essential to emphasize that Kidman and Urban had only known one other for a short period of time (six months) before Urban’s courageous and audacious action. At this point in time, they have been married for the last 16 years and counting. Such a really attractive pair!
