The devastating loss of a family.
After her husband Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ loss last month at the age of 40, the So You Think You Can Dance alum, 35, expressed gratitude to her 3.8 million Instagram followers for “all the love and support” they’ve given her family since his loss.
“It’s been incredibly difficult and emotional,” she remarked. “But, you guys have given us so much hope and inspiration by sharing your experiences, memories, and moments, as well as the many ways Steven touched your life.”
Holker stated: “He was just stunning, and he lived his life out of love. And he made you feel something.”
“My family and I have always emphasized that we wanted to make sure that our mission was carried out by giving pleasure to others, a joy to people’s lives, whether via dancing or love,” she continued in the post on Saturday.
“It isn’t going to change for us. It will feel a little different, but we know that is our mission, and we will continue to do so. And I hope we can remember the sensation he provided us and go forward from there.”
“We may still choose to move and love. And we have the option of choosing grace. We may still choose to be nice.”
“I will always be there for you guys,” Holker said at the end. “And I appreciate you being here for us right now. That goes a long way for us. As a result, thank you.”
When Boss committed himself in December of last year, the professional dancer and choreographer sent a statement to PEOPLE in which they verified Boss’s loss. Before this most recent homage, she had already shared numerous heartfelt remembrances of him on social media.
Emotional condolences came pouring in in the days and weeks after his passing from celebrities like as Jennifer Lopez, Ciara, Kerry Washington, Michelle Obama, Jada Pinkett Smith, JoJo Siwa, and Cheryl Burke, to name just a few. On social media, Boss’s pals from both “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Dancing with the Stars” shared their condolences and paid honor to him.
