Harry Styles came out on top!

The artist, who is 29 years old, was presented with the trophy for album of the year for Harry’s House on Sunday night at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

After reaching the stage to receive the award that was handed to him by Trevor Noah and a line-up of admirers, he acknowledged his surprise by saying, “This doesn’t happen to folks like me very frequently.” “You are really kind, this is very much appreciated.”

Styles took the opportunity to emphasize that he doesn’t go into the studio worrying about if he would win awards and added that “there’s no such thing as best.” This was before he passed the mike to the producers of his third studio album.

Voyage by ABBA, 30 by Adele, Un Verano Sin Ti by Bad Bunny, Renaissance by Beyoncé, Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe) by Mary J. Blige, In These Silent Days by Brandi Carlile, Music of the Spheres by Coldplay, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers by Kendrick Lamar, and Special by Lizzo were some of the other albums that were up for consideration in this category.

This year’s event saw Styles garner a total of six nominations for various awards.

His album Harry’s House was nominated for many awards, including a record of the year, song of the year, best pop solo performance, and best music video for “As It Was.” He ended up winning the award for the best pop vocal album.

He rocked out to his number one song “As It Was” before hitting the stage to win one of the most prestigious prizes of the evening. This performance provided the audience with a sneak peek of his musical prowess.

On a circular red stage, he and a group of backing dancers grooved out to the song, with Styles striding down a moving walkway while wearing a light pink sequined one-piece suit with profuse fringe.

The musician has started a residency tour around the nation to promote their latest album. However, the singer had to postpone three of the events of his Los Angeles residency during the month of November.

He made the announcement at the time, “Towards the conclusion of the concert on Wednesday I began feeling unwell, and I’ve been in bed with the flu ever since,” which means that he started feeling ill towards the end of the performance on Wednesday. “I’m leaving the doctor’s office now, and I’m really heartbroken that I won’t be able to sing tonight, despite the fact that I’ve done everything in my power to be able to do so.

“In the twelve years that I’ve been performing live, I haven’t had to cancel a gig or postpone a show due to sickness until very recently. I really regret having to do that, and if there was any way that I could perform in the show, I would.

“I am so sorry to break this news to you so close to the start of the event, as it was my honest desire to be able to perform for you all tonight. I am aware that some of you are planning journeys to Los Angeles in order to witness the concert, and the fact that you are doing so means the entire world to me “Styles said.

However, he returned to the stage in January, and during his performance of “Music for a Sushi Restaurant,” he delightfully ripped his trousers.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), and the program will also be available to watch on Paramount+ throughout those three hours.
