On the evening of February 1, Dwayne Johnson announced that his mother, Ata Johnson, had been involved in an automobile accident.
Dwayne Johnson published on his Instagram account on February 2 a snapshot of the damaged red Cadillac automobile that belonged to his mother.
After the accident, he said that Ata Johnson, who is 74 years old, would “survive and continue to be examined.”
“This lady has battled through lung cancer, a challenging marriage, a head-on accident with an impaired motorist, and an attempt at taking her own life. She has endured adversity in ways that give credence to the existence of angels and miracles “he wrote in the letter.
He continued by expressing gratitude to the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department for being “very concerned and committed.”
“I have one parent left, so if you still have your mom and dad make sure you hold ’em tight because you never know when you’ll receive that 3 am call we never want to hear,” he said as he came to a conclusion. “I got one parent left,”
The actor’s message did not include any specifics on the nature of the collision or where it had a place in the city of Los Angeles.
As he said in his remarks, this is not the first time that Johnson’s mother has come dangerously close to passing away. In 2018, the famous actor explained how he prevented Ata Johnson, who was only a teenager at the time, from ending his own life by taking his own life.
Johnson stated at the time in an Instagram post that she had shared with the public, “My mom attempted to check out when I was 15.” “She exited the vehicle on Interstate 65 in Nashville and went into the other direction of traffic,” the witness said. Large trucks and automobiles were swerving out of the road to avoid colliding with her.
According to him, he got hold of her and dragged her back into the gravel shoulder of the road.
He said that “what’s amazing about the suicide attempt is that to this day, she has absolutely no recall of anything at all.” It’s probably for the best if she doesn’t.
