The marriage of John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh Stamos has reached a significant milestone, and the couple is celebrating by throwing a party.
Thursday was the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary, and to commemorate the special day, Caitlin posted a photo carousel on Instagram including images from their wedding in 2018.
The pair enjoying what seemed to be a passionate first kiss, holding hands while uttering their vows, and grinning brightly during a reception speech were some of the intimate moments seen.
“Today, I am enjoying the nostalgic experience of gazing back on images from five years ago. There were so many happy faces and so much love “Caitlin, who is 36 years old, penned the note. “I am very thankful that the love we share keeps expanding. What a wonderful life we have created for ourselves together.”
“I hope you’ve had a wonderful year together, and I’m grateful that you’ve put up with me all these years. I adore you! “Additionally, she said.
Later in the day, Stamos paid his own homage to his wife on his Instagram account. The Full House actor uploaded a vibrant painting of the couple together that he had created.
“The best 1,826 days, 43, 824 hours, or 2,639,440 minutes of my whole life! The inscription said, “Happy 5th anniversary, Love,” and it was followed by the words, “Water color by yours truly.””
The first time the two people worked together was on the set of an episode of Law & Order: SVU in 2011, but they didn’t see each other again for a few more years after that.

At that time, Caitlin had just announced that she was going to give birth to the couple’s first child.
After that, the couple was married in February of 2018 at the Little Brown Church in Studio City, California, and in April of that same year, they had their son Billy.
Stamos discussed his journey to achieve his happily ever after in an interview with PEOPLE that took place in August of 2021.
He went on to say, “Six years ago, I hit rock bottom, and the experience made me a better person.” “And as soon as Caitlin came around, I was able to identify it without any hesitation. I responded by stating, “I have to be good for it in order for it to succeed.”
The actor also discussed the ways in which he and Caitlin maintain the health of their marriage, stating that they try to spend as many intimate evenings together as they can.
“We are always taking one other by surprise,” he remarked. “The week before last, she brought me to the Lavender Festival, and I had a wonderful time there. The simplest aspects of life are the ones that we work hardest to rediscover. We are unable to fathom what our lives would be like without the little man, but we do our best to prepare ourselves for the possibility. After that, we return home to a kid wailing inconsolably.”
According to Stamos, “at the end of the day, the pandemonium, the sleepless nights, all of it is what I always wanted.” “One hundred times over, my wildest hopes came true.”
