Have you ever attended a performance that was all about canines? I haven’t. It’s not because I have a strong dislike for canines. I do. The circumstances were such that I was unable to go. However, after seeing that video, I became much more interested in the topic.

I had no clue that a dog show could play host to such skilled performances until recently. I was under the impression that it was the day when people showed off their almost flawless dogs so that the judges could pick who had the best dog overall and who had the best dog in their class.

It’s not hard to see why people are so interested in watching this program. In front of a crowd of thousands of people who adore dogs, the cowboy owner and his border collie perform a “country” dance. You are going to be astounded regardless of how well they do, however.

The Crufts dog show was where the event was held, which is located in the United Kingdom. Not only is it unusual to see a cowboy in the United Kingdom, but he also carried a great deal of the American spirit with him, which resulted in the people of that country being quite pleased.

A song by Big & Rich, two of the most well-known names in country music, was the one that the cowboy decided to play. Both “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” and “Filthy Rich” are among their most well-known songs in the country genre.

However, they are not dead-set on producing hit after hit that does not include religious topics. They have also released some really affecting music, including songs with titles like “That’s Why I Pray” and “I Pray for You.” To put it another way, Big & Rich are multi-talented musicians and entertainers who are capable of a wide range of styles.

Because of this, Big & Rich (shown above) gained widespread attention in 2011 when they collaborated with country music superstar Gretchen Wilson on the recording of the song “Fake I.D.” The new version of Footloose has the song in its soundtrack.

When the cowboy at Crufts showed off his heelwork, the attendees at the dog show were blown away. They enjoyed every second of his country dance and couldn’t get enough of it. They have had such a good time that even his dog has shown interest in taking part.

There was more to the cowboy and his border collie’s trip to Crufts than simply a chance to show off their talents. They went there with the intention of competing in the category in which handlers and their dogs are required to dance together to music for up to four minutes in order to win.

It will become clear to you as you watch them perform that both of them have received a high level of training. The border collie is able to keep up with the cowboy, and the two of them work together to produce excellent results.

Watch how the dogs make a whirlwind of turns and then walk backwards over their owner’s legs. Even when it comes to his cowboy boots, the dog weaves in and out of them.

When the performance was finished, nobody could utter a word about how pleased they were by the cowboy and his border collie. However, when they were on stage, everyone was blown away by them.

After everyone in the audience had time to process how unexpected the conclusion was, they clapped, and many of them rose up to give the dancing pair a standing ovation.

I’m pleased I informed you about it since you may not have known that dance routines can be a component of a dog show. I had no notion that incidents similar to this were occurring in other parts of the globe. Given what I know now, I’m thinking about getting a ticket to a dog show as soon as I can. You never know what kinds of exciting things you’ll stumble into!
