She also added that she was really astonished to see the video perform so well and reach so many people. She said that it completely blew her mind. She composed the following:
“I am astonished, humbled, and delighted for our little movie that could and did, and based on today’s nominations, it continues to do and do and do,” said the director of the film. “I am stunned and humbled and pleased.”
According to a post that Jamie made on Instagram, she comes from a long history of people who came to the United States from other countries. The “Knives Out” star’s grandfather and grandmother came to the United States from Mateszalka, Poland, when they were young. Helen and Emanuel Schwartz immigrated to this nation before the birth of their first child in the hopes of providing their offspring with a more stable and safe future.
They went on to have a child together, whom they named Bernard Schwartz, who eventually changed his name to Tony Curtis and went on to have a successful acting career.
