There is no way to know how long a fearful dog was trapped in the rubble that was left behind by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas, but due to the efforts of the Gainesville Fire Rescue in Florida, another survivor may now be considered “safe.”
The Gainesville Fire Rescue Department released a video of the dog’s rescue at Central Abaco on the Facebook page they maintain for the organization.
Workers can be seen clearing the rubble and pushing up the part of a wall that has collapsed in order to get to the dog.
The bulldog is immediately saved from the burning building by a fireman who lifts him out of the structure and carries him to safety.
