Since they’ve both had families, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper’s bond has only become deeper and more meaningful.

Cohen spoke with his closest buddy and podcast co-host Bruce Bozzi this week on Table for Two about how their relationship has become stronger after they both became parents. Cooper was also there for the conversation. Cohen is the father of daughter Lucy Eve, who is 7 months old, and son Benjamin Allen, who is 312 years old. Cooper is the father of boys Sebastian Luke, who is 7 months old, and Wyatt, who is 2 years old.

Cohen said to Bozzi, “Seem, we may look like these elderly patients limping around after our children, but look at it this way: it’s another bonding thing.”

“What I think is going to be very intriguing for us as it grows is being gay fathers and seeing our kids start to realize more and more, “Oh, I have homosexual dads.” I think this is going to be a really interesting dynamic for us. I am overjoyed that Ben Cohen and Wyatt Cooper will share their formative years and that Ben will see Anderson and Benjamin Maisani bring up Wyatt and Sebastian throughout those formative years.”

In October, the Bravo celebrity, age 54, and the CNN anchor, age 55, who have been good friends for many years, posted a scene from their busy Saturday on Instagram. It seemed as if they met up at a bookshop for a children’s event with their respective children.

Cohen took a video of the two of them while they were sitting around and laughing in the midst of a room full of children who were noisily talking to one other and wailing in the background.

Before he caught himself and stated “Saturday afternoon, Ben,” the host of Watch What Happens Live used a sing-song voice to introduce the segment. “I mean, Anderson.”

Cohen said as he grimaced at the cacophony, “Just a relaxing Saturday,” while Cooper laughed, “This is how we used to spend our Saturdays.”

Cohen chuckled and said, “Wow, life has truly made a 180-degree turn.”

During an interview with PEOPLE that took place in November for ByHeart’s Feed Fest, a virtual conference that aims to inspire new parents via a series of panels and masterclasses, the Bravo actor discussed how he has been adjusting to his new job as a father of two children.

Cohen said that since the birth of his daughter Lucy and son Benjamin, he has experienced a “complete change in emphasis.”

“I’m choosing to stay home with them so much more than I ever would have,” he revealed to me. “It’s so much more fulfilling.” “I was never someone who ever remained at home, so the things that were previously important to me have simply completely shifted.”
