White was involved with a variety of groups that fought for the welfare of animals, including the Los Angeles Zoo Commission, Actors and Others for Animals, the African Wildlife Foundation, and The Morris Animal Foundation.

Her life was absolutely remarkable, and she had a fruitful and successful career. She had an exceptional net worth, which had amassed to many millions of dollars, as is the case with the majority of renowned individuals. Before she died away, White had also been living in Carmel Meadows by herself for a considerable amount of time.

Kiersten Mikelas, White’s assistant, made the announcement that the much-loved house that White had owned for many years had been demolished in December 2022, one year after White had passed away.

Throughout her career, White was regarded for having an extremely amusing sense of humor and for having a kind heart. In the episode “Life with Elizabeth,” she portrayed the part of Elizabeth, the show’s namesake. After that, she became the presenter of and producer for her very own variety program, which was named “The Betty White Show.” She was one of the first women to achieve success in both acting in front of and working behind the camera. She was in charge of the creative direction of the series.

Other television shows and films, such as “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” “The Golden Girls,” “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Hot in Cleveland,” “The Proposal,” and “Toy Story 4,” contributed to White’s rise to prominence in the entertainment industry.

White did not remarry after the death in 1981 of her third husband, Allen Ludden, whom she had been with for 20 years. They had been married for 40 years. Carmel Meadows, which is located inside the affluent neighborhood of Carmel Highlands, was where White spent her last years of life. The neighborhood may be found in a remote and unincorporated area of Monterey County, California, in the United States. In addition to having breathtaking vistas of the water, this region is famous for its mountainous and rocky topography.

According to Mansion Global, in addition to White, other notable residents of the area include Clint Eastwood and Sammy Hagar. So White was in excellent company. On the other hand, on December 10, 2022, White’s aide Kiersten Mikelas, who is in charge of her Instagram account, shared some devastating news with the world. White had lived in the house for more than half a century when it was finally demolished. In the post, Mikelas wrote as follows:

“Hello everybody! I owe a post (or two) I know. The fact that the anniversary of Betty’s demise is approaching during such a hectic time of year is affecting me in ways that I had not expected. Her former house in Brentwood has been demolished (save the fireplaces which will be gone in short order). I assure you that a fantastic ode to our most amazing woman will be forthcoming very soon!!!!”

In December 2022, about a year and a half after White’s departure on December 31, 2021, it was demolished completely. Because they just wanted the best for White and her house, a lot of followers had conflicting sentiments about how they should feel about the situation.

The property in Brentwood, California, was originally listed for sale on Zillow, and in June 2022, it was purchased for the price of $10,678,000 as a teardown property. It was ultimately sold for $15,000 more than what was projected to be the price.

The Wall Street Journal reports that White received $10.775 million for the sale of a property that he owned that included four bedrooms. In March of 2022, it was put up for sale, and it was purchased by someone the following month.

“Betty White was a California gal through and through,” the statement from White’s estate said. Despite the fact that she and Allen Ludden were living in New York at the time of their first marriage, she wanted to be “back home” in Los Angeles, where she had spent her childhood.
