Nicole Kidman, an actress who was born in the United States but now resides in Australia, has been showered with praise during the course of her illustrious career. She has won honors at the Primetime Emmys, the Golden Globes, and the Academy Awards, and she has been nominated for five of them. Kidman held the title of highest-paid actress in Hollywood in 2006, 2018, and 2019 respectively. The New York Times listed Kidman as one of the top five finest performers of the 21st century in the year 2020.

She made her acting debut in 1983, and the parts she played in the movies “Eyes Wide Shut,” “The Hours” (for which she was nominated for an Academy Award), and “Moulin Rouge!” brought her the most recognition. I am the godmother of 12 children, in addition to having six nieces and a nephew of my own. I like being a mother and I adore children because they are unique, hilarious, and uncensored. And then you get to see them mature and finally you get to send them go on their journey.”

Jackman and Kidman are both performers, and they are also friends. They have shown that they make positive use of the platform that they have been given. Jackman is a well-known Australian actor who became internationally renowned for his performance as Wolverine in the “X-Men” film series from the years 2000 to 2017. The actor has gone on to enjoy commercial as well as critical acclaim throughout his or her career. He is the recipient of several accolades, including the Grammy Award, the Emmy Award, two Tony Awards, and the Golden Globe Award. Before moving to the United States and starting a career in the film business in Hollywood, Hugh Jackman began his career in Australia working in theater and on television.

The actor’s film credits include “Kate & Leopold,” “Van Helsing,” “The Prestige,” and “Australia,” all of which featured him in the leading role. Jackman was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance as Jean Valjean in the epic musical picture “Les Misérables,” for which he received the nomination. “The Greatest Showman” is Jackman’s leading role in yet another successful musical picture.

Both Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman have had tremendous professional success thanks to the many possibilities that have been presented to them over the years. However, they have made it a priority to volunteer their time whenever they get the opportunity.

Kidman said the following while she was speaking with the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA):

“But, you know, it’s still really difficult to earn a life here mainly as a film actor. It’s quite competitive. Therefore, you need to have a varied skill set and be open to traveling to a variety of locations. You also need to be open to exploring other potential lines of work. However, it is our responsibility to continually contribute to the growth of this business in order to ensure that future generations will always have something to which they can point and say, “Oh, I grew up with that movie.”

Therefore, it should not have come as a surprise to see Kidman doing her bit and giving back when she went to see Jackman perform onstage for the Broadway production “Music Man.” A video indicated that Kidman was willing to make a very significant gift. She said that she would give one hundred thousand dollars to purchase the hat that Jackman wore in the performance. After that, Kidman joined Jackman onstage, where she was greeted with a rousing wave of applause and a bear embrace from her close friend.

All of this was done in conjunction with the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS initiative. Kidman provided an explanation, saying, “I adore Broadway, I love what they do – Broadway Cares, but I also want to say, the show is fantastic.”

After Kidman had returned to her seat, Jackson complimented her for the kind act she had just performed. “Nic and I go back about 30 years,” he remarked. “I’ve known him all that time.” Because I’ve collaborated with her, I can assure you that this does not come as a surprise. She has one of the kindest hearts of anybody I’ve ever met.

On November 27, 2022, Jackman also expressed his appreciation for the actress through a tweet, which read:
