Kid Rock has declined to issue an apology for his drunken outburst in 2019, which took place at his Nashville honky-tonk and in which he directly attacked Oprah Winfrey and Joy Behar.

“A drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts; I own what I said,” the rapper, whose real name is Robert James Richie, said on a recent episode of Tucker Carson Originals on Fox Nation. Richie is known by his stage name Richie.

Carlson made a stop to Kid Rock’s ranch while he was on tour for the show titled “Life of a Rockstar,” which highlighted Carlson’s visit to Kid Rock. When they gave an interview together, the musician repeated the same negative comments he’d made about Winfrey and Behar three years before. These comments were said during the interview they did together.

“I make no apologies to anybody.” Oprah Winfrey is not someone I look up to in any way. The artist shared their story with the audience, explaining, “I got intoxicated, and the next thing you know, I’m up there saying f— Oprah.”

A video of Kid Rock performing in 2019 had the words “F— Oprah Winfrey and f— Joy Behar,” which TMZ published. He also launched an attack that was unintentionally directed towards Kathie Lee Gifford, although he later explained that he was addressing comedian Kathy Griffin.

“I was trying to go after Kathy Griffin for putting Trump’s head up, you know, but I’m so out of it that I’m like, ‘F— Kathie Lee Gifford,'” he stated at one point. “I was trying to go after Kathy Griffin for putting Trump’s head up.” “After a few weeks have passed, if it is brought up again on TMZ or anything else, I’m like, ‘Oh man, I adore Kathie Lee Gifford.'” We’ve maintained a cordial relationship throughout the years. “I’m not feeling so well at the moment,” she said.

This is not the first time that Kid Rock has been the subject of heated debate. EW reported in March 2020 that Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock ‘n’ Roll Steakhouse in Nashville would close voluntarily after refusing to comply with Nashville Mayor John Cooper’s request to close bars and limit the number of people dining at restaurants in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Cooper had requested that bars be closed and the number of people dining at restaurants be limited in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19. A few months later, rumors began to circulate that Kid Rock and professional golfer John Daly were planning to participate in the final presidential debate without wearing masks, despite the fact that both of them had supported the mask mandate just a few months earlier. The debate was between Donald Trump and now-President Joe Biden.
