Joe Jonas prefers to remain silent on the details of his marriage to Sophie Turner.
The singer of “Cake by the Ocean,” who is 33 years old, recently gave an interview to Mr. Porter, and during the discussion he explained the reason why he does not discuss the more intimate elements of his relationship with Turner, who is 26 years old.
In an interview with the newspaper, he said, “I want to feel like an open book.” “However, when we began dating, I discovered that I didn’t have a lot of things that were just for me. I didn’t have a lot of things that were just for me. Having something that is mine alone helps me to be a better person overall, so that’s another benefit.”
Jonas also highlighted the media tempest that Harry Styles found himself in while promoting his film Don’t Worry Darling as an example of why he is cautious to comment about some matters in his private life. Jonas is a member of the boy band One Direction.
Jonas said that “there have been a number of occasions in my career where, like [Styles], a tiny thing has been blown out of proportion,” which was similar to what Styles had experienced. “It has had this trickling effect, which is part of the reason why I chose to take a sabbatical from social media for the sake of my mental health. I’ve gotten to the point where I like being in the dark about what’s going on.”
Jonas and Turner are the proud parents of two daughters: Willa, who was born in the year 2020; and a second daughter, who was born in July; however, the couple has not disclosed the name of their newest addition.
After the birth of their second kid, Jonas shared some joyful moments with his wife in a lovely tribute film that was aired on social media. The movie contained photographs from their wedding, in addition to more private moments, such as them cuddling in bed together.
On his Instagram account, he posted the video with the description, “Started from the bottom now we’re here…”
In an interview in August, Jonas said that he is still attempting to find a balance between recording new songs, acting, and being a father to a recently born child.
Jonas was quoted as saying at the time, “It’s an adjustment phase.” “I wake up every day simply pleased to be able to go do music or perform and create new projects and have a wonderful family, so it seems like a dream come true,” said the actor. “It feels like a dream come true because it is a dream come true.”
