After watching some old episodes of Laguna Beach not so long ago, Lauren Conrad has declared that she is now on Team Kristen.

The co-founder of The Little Market, who is 36 years old, got down with former co-stars Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti to discuss their experiences while appearing on the MTV reality series, which aired from 2004 to 2006.

She told Cavallari, 35, and Colletti, 36, on the podcasts Dear Media: Back to the Beach with Kristin and Stephen, “I guess one of my takeaways from looking back is I’m like, ‘It’s very nice.’ You guys were in love and you had a relationship.”

“Trying to sort it out,” Cavallari said after Colletti had responded that they were “working our way through this little adolescent love.” It was sweet.”

Conrad, who was intended to be in the middle of a high school love triangle with Colletti and Cavallari, has stated that she does not comprehend why viewers would not have realized how she did not truly make sense as a love rival. Conrad was positioned to be in the middle of the love triangle.

“Who wasn’t rooting for that [relationship]?” she pondered to herself at one point.

Cavallari, however, rebutted this by saying, “I think most people were pulling for you [and Stephen] back in the day.”

“Colletti told Conrad, “It’s completely skewed because you’re the storyteller, and we’re wild, and it’s this hurricane.” “It’s completely slanted because you’re the narrator,” And, darling Lauren, you all need to be Lauren’s biggest supporters.”

He continued by saying, “But there are going to be a lot of folks that are going to root for Kristin.”

In an episode of the podcast that was released in August, Colletti talked about the storyline that the creators of the show crafted for the three of them.

“Look, obviously they created this show around this romantic triangle, and there are times where you and I were broken, and they had learned about Lauren and I shacking up and being very good friends,” he explained. “I had a huge problem with this because look, obviously they created this show around this love triangle.”

“And, you know, obviously, stuff happened at certain times,” he acknowledged, “but at no point ever whenever we were together, you know, would I step out on you in that way. And they really paint [it like] that’s what I’m doing throughout the show — which I have a huge problem with.”

Colletti did, however, give credit to “the genius of the show’s editing.” He stated that “you have to hand it to them; they really built this tale in such a way that I think that’s what made fans very involved.”
