Millie Bobby Brown has a clear vision for the next major part she wants to play in her acting career.
Brown, who is only 18 years old, revealed her desire to play Britney Spears in a biopic while riding around New York City with Drew Barrymore, who is 47 years old, on an episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show” that aired on November 7th.
Brown expressed his desire to play a real person by saying, “I want to play a real person, and I think for me, Britney.” “I believe that her narrative, first and foremost, strikes a chord with me.”
“Growing up in the public eye watching her films and watching interviews of how she was when she was younger,” she said. “Just watching her videos.” Brown said to Barrymore, “I mean, it’s the same thing with you.” “I watch the race for words (in interviews), and I don’t know her, but when I look at photographs of her, I feel like I could convey her story in the proper way and in a way that is uniquely hers,” the interviewee said.
Spears took to Instagram later that same day, November 8, to share her opinions, and it appears that she was replying to some of Brown’s comments.
“I’ve heard that people are interested in making movies about my life… “guy, I’m not d.e.a.d!!” was part of what she had written.
Recently, Brown, who is best known for her role as Eleven in the Netflix series “Stranger Things,” was in New York City for the debut of her newest film, “Enola Holmes 2.”
She plays Mary Morstan, Sherlock Holmes’ younger sister, in the movie, and the two of them collaborate to solve a mystery.
Brown gave an interview TODAY on the red carpet, and during the interview, she discussed why she decided to play Enola.
“I simply had the impression that it was a fairly widespread message, one that should have been sent to the young women who are out there. And it was of the utmost importance to me that I had the confidence that I could relate her tale in the most genuine manner possible “— I quote her.
Regarding the ways in which she is similar to the character she plays, Brown has stated that she is likewise a “very vocal” person and that she “absolutely” utilizes comedy as a means of deflecting negative emotions.
However, after filming “Enola Holmes 2,” Brown stated that she may have a difficult time returning to the set of “Stranger Things” due to the fact that she often breaches the fourth wall and addresses the viewer directly in the movie.
She shared this revelation during a question and answer session that took place after the screening in New York City. “While filming, I had a dream that I was on the set of ‘Stranger Things,’ and I couldn’t stop looking at the camera,” she explained. “And now, I have this pervasive worry that I will never be able to quit looking into the lens of the camera,” she continued. Because of this, I find myself thinking about it nonstop.
