This year’s broadcast of the Today show, which was a festive celebration of Halloween, featured a segment in which the cast and crew brought a large portion of Sin City to New York City.

We were there to see the highly anticipated reveal of the Today team’s costumes for their annual Halloween variety show, and they were able to see it all unfold live. What is everyone talking about? Viva Las Vegas!

The co-hosts of Today, Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie could not contain their delight and happiness throughout the joyful morning as they posed and “performed” dressed as aerialists from Cirque du Soleil. Whether they were on camera or not, they could not stop smiling and laughing.

Kotb, 58, was quoted as saying, “You do not want to be next to Savannah.” “During the presentation, she continues to drop bombs on me, and I’m truly terrified that I’m going to laugh at them and lose my job.”

Guthrie, who is now 50 years old, validated the statement by saying, “We basically laugh through every single morning.”

The dynamic duo, who guaranteed that they had limited experience in dance or gymnastics, wore aqua-colored matching one-piece ensembles as they climbed up onto aerial crowns hanging from a stage set up at Rockefeller Plaza for the big show. The rings were suspended from a stage set up at Rockefeller Plaza.

“During our run-throughs, the rings were situated approximately nine centimeters (three inches) above the floor. Then we came out here, and we were like, “Whoa, those are extremely high,” and we walked away “According to Guthrie.

Kotb agreed and said, “Yeah.” “They protected the ground underneath with a mat and kept an ambulance on standby. The only thing we had to do was hang on because they were unable to tether us due to all of the great maneuvers we were making.”

In spite of their shared sense of humor, the two working mothers are always there to cheer one other up and offer support if either of them is having a particularly challenging day.

According to Kotb, “I think the finest aspect is, that we can lean on each other.” “Because the good news is that when one of us is having a bad day, the other one isn’t typically having a horrible day. Therefore, it seems that this is the method through which it operates. It’s almost as though we’re a check and balance for one another.”

In the end, Kotb stated that the most beneficial thing they do for one another is “We just listen. That brings me to my conclusion. Someone once told me that the secret to having good friends, being a good parent, or being good at anything else is only four words. ‘Listen and love, love, love.’ That sums it up nicely.”

“It is correct. That wraps it up, “This was confirmed by Guthrie. “We frequently embrace one another and give each other a gentle squeeze. That sums it up nicely. A nudge.”

On Monday, devoted fans lined up outside of the world-famous NBC studios to get a glimpse of their favorite Today stars dressed in various outfits with a Las Vegas theme.

Al Roker, 68, came out dancing as the late legend Sammy Davis Jr., while “magician” Carson Daly, 49, channeled illusionist David Copperfield. Dylan Dreyer came out as an assistant to a magician wearing a black cropped wig and slick black sequins. Willie Geist, now 47 years old, gave the world’s most famous Elvis Presley impression while performing in Las Vegas.

Jenna Bush Hager, who is 40 years old, performed as Celine Dion while dressed in a Celine Dion costume. She wore a gorgeous silver sequined gown and did her best version of the superstar’s delightfully theatrical dance routines while singing “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.”

When asked about Celine, Bush Hager said, “I love Celine.” When I was about 20 years old, I had the feeling that I had been prepared for this moment all since then.

Peter Alexander and Kristen Welker, both 46 years old and correspondents for Today’s Washington D.C., dressed up as Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez for their surprise wedding in Las Vegas and reenacted the event.

Craig Melvin said that he gave faces up to the late legend’s wife, Lonnie Ali, who he connected with when he covered the sports figure’s memorial service in 2016. Lonnie Ali was wearing red gloves and a red satin robe when Craig Melvin entered the ring as Muhammad Ali. Lonnie Ali was wearing red boxing gloves and a red satin robe.

Melvin, who is 43 years old, said: “He’s an idol.” “Because we haven’t dealt with a large number of personalities who are no longer with us, I found myself feeling a little uneasy about the situation. However, they do a fantastic job with the outfit, including the hair, makeup, and other accessories.”

While displaying his championship belt, he divulged the following information: “This belt was produced somewhere overseas, and they shipped it in a couple of weeks ago; these suspenders hold it up because it is so heavy.”

Sheinelle Jones, 44, who was dressed as a full-on Las Vegas showgirl, was the one who ended up stealing the show with her dance moves. She had previously blown away her coworkers with her performance as Tina Turner.

Guthrie lauded her performance, saying that “she did a terrific, lovely dance as a showgirl.”

Kotb continued by saying, “She’s a pro.” “I loved her I loved Jenna. I was a huge Sammy Davis fan. Al, and you just heard Jenna in her natural voice. She sang one of the most beautiful notes!”
