Megyn Kelly has informed her audience that her sister Suzanne Crossley suffered an unexpected heart attack over the weekend and that she passed away as a result.

On the edition of The Megyn Kelly Show that aired on SiriusXM on Monday, Kelly, who is 51 years old, revealed that “something incredibly awful happened in my family over the weekend.” My sister passed away; her name was Suzanne Crosley, and she was 58 years old when she passed away unexpectedly on Friday from a heart attack.

Kelly stated that her sibling hadn’t done anything yet and “was enjoying an excellent state of health throughout the course of the past few years. It was more or less one issue after another. It came on quickly and out of the blue. After the show, I found out some news and immediately went up to the location with my mother, my brother Paul, and my nephew Brian, who is one of her three children.”

As Kelly talked about being by her mother’s side, she started to experience some emotional distress. “It was pretty challenging, and it was quite emotional,” she remarked about the experience. “Poor mom, as I’m sure all other parents out there are aware, this is not the order in which things are supposed to occur,” she said.

Following the taping of the show on Monday, Kelly revealed that she intended to return to New York in order to attend the funeral of her sister on Tuesday.

Crossley was, as stated in the obituary that was published in the Albany Times Union, “very creative, enjoyed doing arts and crafts as well as playing games with family members. She was a formidable opponent in gin rummy and kept a keen eye out for anyone trying to cheat at dominoes by “palming” the double five.”

Kelly shared that the passing of her sister was a wake-up call for her regarding what really matters in life. She said, “It’s just a reminder to hug the ones you love, how short and tenuous life is, and how vital it is to be close to the people you love.” “It’s just a reminder to hug the people you love,” she said. “How short and tenuous life is.”

Kelly strongly recommended that individuals “make a small effort day by day just to shoot a text or answer a call,” despite the fact that “we can’t all be great on that front.”
