The newlyweds Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are getting excited for their first Halloween together as a pair.

This past weekend, the couple was seen on camera making a purchase at Boot Star in West Hollywood. Boot Star is an American Western boutique that carries a variety of mementos and souvenirs, including traditional cowboy boots. They were joined by J. Lo’s daughter Emme Muiz, who is 14 years old and whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. In the photographs, the family unit can be seen having an endearingly goofy time together in the shop, putting on cowboy hats, and checking out clothing with a Western motif.

The star of “Marry Me” looked effortlessly chic while attending the event while wearing an oatmeal-colored knit ensemble that included a ribbed V-neck sweater and matching leggings. She finished off the ensemble by donning aviator sunglasses with a brown tint and shoes. Affleck, on the other hand, elected to wear black pants, a white T-shirt with light blue speckles, a cardigan with the same light blue speckles, and black-and-white Nike shoes.

In July of this past year, Lopez and Affleck had their first wedding, which was a small affair held in a chapel in Las Vegas. After that, they celebrated their marriage with a bigger gathering in a mansion that Affleck owns in Riceboro, Georgia.

In a special issue of her fan email titled “On the JLO,” Jennifer Lopez pondered on the fact that “for us, this was great timing.” “Nothing has ever felt more natural to me, and I knew we were finally “settling down” in a way that is only possible when you have experienced both joy and sorrow, and when you have been through enough hardship that you know better than to ever take the significant things in life for granted or let the trivial, insignificant distractions of daily life prevent you from appreciating every fleeting moment. We have finally arrived at the point in our lives that we have longed to reach: the one when we are grateful for all that life, with all of its difficulties and challenges, has taught us. That night was really a night made in paradise.”
