Brittany Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes have become the proud parents of future sports enthusiasts!
The co-owner of the Kansas City Current, who is currently pregnant, went to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play an away game in San Francisco on Sunday with her 20-month-old daughter Sterling Skye. While there, they cheered on their favorite quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, in anticipation of a victory for the team.
Through the use of Instagram images from the day of their game, Brittany displayed herself and Sterling dressed identically in attire that integrated the colors of the competing squad.
“Game Days with my girl #ChiefsKingdom,” she captioned the photographs, in which the mother-daughter combo donned identical black shirts that stated “Mahomes” in white print, with Brittany in a long-sleeved version and Sterling in a t-shirt version. Sterling is Brittany’s daughter.
While Brittany completed her ensemble with a black puffer vest, Sterling opted to wear the one-of-a-kind denim “Mahomes” jacket that she first showed off earlier on in this season. On one of her arms, a crimson and gold script version of her name is printed, while on the other, the family’s canines, Silver and Steel, are shown.
Brittany uploaded a boomerang on her Instagram Story in which Sterling could be seen jumping about and applauding. She captioned the post, “Sterling wants more TDs please.” Another photo was taken of the two of them, this time from inside Levi’s Stadium, showing them dressed in identical attire.
The woman who is about to become a mother of two also made a joke about Sterling “coaching up here” as she showed the toddler sitting in her seat and then standing as she raised her fist in the air. Sterling was “coaching up here” as the woman demonstrated.
On the day of the game, this is not the first time that Brittany and Sterling have competed against one another. The previous week, Sterling wore a dress that was harvest yellow with glossy black leggings, frilly socks, and red and white Nike shoes. This outfit was quite similar to the one that Brittany wore, which consisted of a black tank and a harvest yellow cardigan with matching leggings and sneakers.
She captioned the collection of images she sent on Instagram with the hashtag “mytwingirlgochiefs.”
Late in the month of May, Brittany and Patrick, who are both 27 years old, revealed to their followers on Instagram that they are expecting their second child together. Pictures taken during a party-themed “gender reveal” were sent in June, at which the couple announced they will be welcoming a newborn boy into their family in the early months of 2023.
The long-time pair announced their pregnancy just two months after they had tied the knot in Hawaii, after an engagement that had been announced in September 2020. They became friends when they were students at Whitehouse High School, which is located in Whitehouse, Texas.
