Kyle Richards isn’t ashamed to say that there have been times when she’s had to recant some of the parenting advice that she’s given.
When she speaks about her contribution to Halloween Ends, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 53, also expands on the new reality show that her husband and daughters are starring in. In the past, she has stated that she will never allow her daughters to follow in her footsteps and pursue a career in television.
“A few years ago, [I was reported as stating] that I would never allow my girls do reality television,” Richards reveals in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, noting that she is “completely eating my words” today, “I would never let my daughters do reality television.”
At this moment, with 2 of her daughters —whose names are Farrah Brittany and Alexia Umansky set to star along with her husband, Mauricio Umansky, in Netflix’s latest new real estate reality television show, Buying Beverly Hills, Richards says, “Here are those words coming back to bite me.” Buying Beverly Hills is set to premiere on Netflix on October 26.
However, as she tells it, “They made the decision to go with it due to the fact that it is a business program that is based on our firm, The Agency. They are successful career women, and so is my husband, who is also in the business world.”
“I can’t wait for the haters to be like, ‘You said you would never allow your girls to be on TV.” “I can’t wait for the haters to be like this. The addition of Richards. “I am well aware of it, gentlemen. I’m going to put it out there now. That is what I stated.”
Buying Beverly Hills is a reality show that follows Mauricio, 52, and his staff at a high-end agency of real estate as they try to sell some of the most expensive and star-studded residences in the city of Beverly Hills.
The Agency has only just revealed the residences of a number of notable people, including Norman Reedus and Diane Krueger, Finneas, and the Hemsworth brothers, to mention just a few.
In addition to Mauricio, Farrah, 33, and Alexia, 26, the other consultants featured in the series are Santiago Arana, Ben Belack, Joey Ben-Zvi, Jon Grauman, Brandon Graves, Allie Lutz Rosenberger, Melissa Platt, and Sonika Vaid. The series is produced by CBS Television Studios.
Mauricio and Richards are the proud parents of two beautiful children, Sophia, who is 22 years old, and Portia, who is 14 years old.
