At times, the life of Meghan Markle might seem like something out of a fairytale: a famous actress meets a prince, and the two of them go on to be married and start a family. Markle is best known for her role as Rachel Zane in “Suits,” in which she appeared for seven seasons out of a total of nine seasons for the show. In addition to her acting career, Markle had a diverse career outside of acting, which included everything from fashion to calligraphy and even being a lifestyle influencer. She is now most famous for her role in the royal wedding. After it was established that she and Prince Harry were engaged, Meghan made the decision to end her career in the entertainment industry so that she could devote her whole time to becoming a member of the royal family.

In spite of this, in January of 2020, Meghan and Harry stunned the world by announcing that they would be quitting the royal family to seek a life together in the state of California in the United States.

The following year, in an interview with Oprah, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed additional details about their personal lives as well as additional insights into their decision-making processes leading up to their departure from the royal family.
