In recent years, there has been a huge number of people choosing to have plastic surgery. While some people decide to undergo the procedure in order to achieve what they believe to be an improved version of themselves, others do so in order to mimic the appearance of another person, most often a celebrity. This is the situation with a 23-year-old lady from Los Angeles called Serena Smith, who is so obsessed with the Golden Age of Hollywood starlets Jayne Mansfield and Marilyn Monroe that she has spent $49,000 on cosmetic surgery in order to appear like them.
For the past six years, Smith has been pouring her money into various forms of plastic surgery. Despite the fact that she has already undergone several major procedures, such as breast augmentation, a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), rhinoplasty, and fillers, she has no plans to slow down her plastic surgery regimen. In point of fact, she is about to schedule her second breast augmentation, this time with much bigger implants.
Her breasts went from a size 32A to a size 32DD in December 2016, when she was only 18 years old and had her first experience with plastic surgery. After that, she went ahead and had a nose operation that set her back an additional $11,500 in an effort to give herself a “Hollywood nose.” In addition to that, she often gets Botox and has fillers placed in her lips.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Smith did not avoid talking about how painful the surgeries were. She acknowledged that after the BBL operation, she felt as if she had been struck by a truck, and she described the healing process as “extremely severe, absolutely the most difficult thus far.” She also said that she was “sore all over covered with bruises and quite swollen” and that she had to “wear a compression garment 23 hours a day for two months.” Despite this, she has no regrets about having the surgical procedure done.
On the other hand, she is looking forward to her subsequent major procedure, which will consist of exchanging her existing breast implants with ones that are bigger. She said the following to the Daily Mail:
“I can’t wait till my next operation, which will be a revision of my breast augmentation so that I may have larger breasts. In the near future, I want to upgrade each side of my implants from 500 cc to 1,000 cc capacity.”
Smith said that she wanted to have the BBL procedure performed first so that her “extra-large implants” would have proper proportions and so that her body would be symmetrical. She went on to say that
“I didn’t want to seem like an upside-down triangle since, in my view, achieving a truly appealing look is all about finding the right balance,” she said.
The aspiring musician and social media influencer, who has a modest but expanding audience of 21,000 followers on Instagram, is, in general, “very happy with the results” of the new “curvier look” she was going for. She acknowledged that after healing is complete, “you forget the recovery process,” however she said that throughout the process, “you feel horrible.”
The burgeoning superstar said that she would “never stop” receiving cosmetic surgery and stated that “everything is worth it for that newfound confidence.” She went on to say that
“Anything that enables me to live a life that is full of joy and self-assurance is worth it to me, and as the old adage goes, beauty comes from suffering.”
After she has completed her change, she is forthcoming about the maintenance that will be required to preserve a young look. She has already begun to plan for the future. “Having surgery has given me a sense of control over my life,” she remarked.
Smith is unfazed by the large number of people who claim to dislike her on social media and is just concerned with the things that would make her really happy. She added: “… It’s important to me to evolve as a person throughout time. It’s an investment in the person that you are.”
