Sundae had spent her whole existence in a garage in a junkyard, where it was always chilly.

The coonhound and Labrador retriever mix dog was saved by Country Roads Animal Rescue Society in Oklahoma City from a scenario involving the hoarding of dogs, and shortly after her rescue, she gave birth to a litter of puppies without ever having been inside a house.

That is until her foster mother educated her about the significance of sleeping in a warm bed. Sundae’s expression of relief was immediately visible the moment she took a seat to rest.

Sundae was calm and collected because she was certain that she was in no danger.

On Reddit, Sundae’s foster parent Mugglequeen said, “We’ve had her for about a week, and you’d never know she’s never been an inside dog before.” Mugglequeen is Sundae’s temporary guardian. “On the inside, she is entirely potty trained, incredibly kind, and quite polite,” the owner added. “On the outside, she has a bit of a rough exterior.”

Mugglequeen decided to call her Sundae because of the amazing chocolate, vanilla, and caramel coloration that can be seen on her face. Sundae also has a very nice personality.

Sundae was originally cautious of males, but she eventually became more comfortable around them when her foster mother put a pair of shorts that her boyfriend had given her on the bed, which Sundae considered to be her favorite position in the house.

After a period of prolonged neglect, Sundae is, at last, starting to get the medical attention that she so desperately needs.

The results of her visit to the veterinarian showed that she had heartworms and required dental repair, but other than that, she was in good condition. The only thing left for Sundae to do at this point is to wait for the perfect family to come along and fall in love with her pups, who are now in the care of other foster homes.

Mugglequeen continued by saying, “Her ideal family would have a very laid-back way of life and a lot of patience to enable her to continue to emerge out of her shell and build confidence.” “She’s going to live with me until she finds the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with!”
