Kansas, a seven-year-old bloodhound, was taken to the Carson Animal Care Center in California after her family gave up on her and left her there. Kansas now resides at the center. The information that we have obtained from the shelter suggests that her family gave up on caring for her because they just did not have the time to devote to her.

Kansas is said to be friendly and outgoing with other canine companions, housebroken despite being an outdoor dog, adept at walking on a leash, and well-trained in obedience.

My name is KANSAS, and I’ve been a female Bloodhound for the last seven years. I have not yet had the spaying procedure. Since August 4th, you may find me here at the Carson Animal Care Center. The 4th of August is the first day that I will be accessible. You are welcome to come to see me in my temporary residence at C317.s.
