The event of graduation is one that is celebrated with enthusiasm by both the graduates and their families. The presence of Francesca Bourdier’s tabby cat, Suki, on her special day brought her even more happiness and made the day even more unique.

Suki had participated in each and every one of Bourdier’s online courses over the course of the preceding two years, and as a result, Bourdier wanted to do something special to acknowledge their achievement. Long before the event, she sewed a little graduation gown for Suki that was scaled down to match the one she wore.

The majority of Ms. Bourdier’s courses had to be conducted online due to the COVID-19 epidemic and the subsequent lockdowns; nonetheless, she was never by herself. Suki would sit down next to her friend Bourdier in front of the computer as soon as she heard the start of their online lesson.

She would just approach Bourdier’s desk, then lay down next to her as if she were attempting to listen in on the talk that was taking place in the classroom. And while Bourdier was using her iPad to take notes, she would just sit on the device.

After viewing a photo of Suki on the internet in September of 2020, Bourdier decided to adopt her from a local animal shelter. She ended up going to three different sites in an attempt to find her, and when she did, there was a big line of people waiting to adopt Suki. When she finally did find her, she adopted her anyhow.

The dogged determination shown by Bourdier paid out in the end, and she was the one who was allowed to take home the lovable kitten. According to Bourdier, “When I finally received her, I was thinking, ‘Wow, I get to be her parent.'”

She sewed a tiara and a gown for Suki that were little versions of her own, and they matched wonderfully.

Friendships with cats may last a lifetime, and throughout that time, your feline companion will figure out how to live more peacefully with you. Suki had been carrying it out without a single error.

The majority of Professor Bourdier’s lessons were held online as a result of the epidemic.

Since the day she joined the family, Suki has had a strong desire to expand her skill set and has already mastered many tricks, including high-fiving, spinning, and offering her paw when she is told to. It was only natural for the smart kitty to start going to each and every one of Bourdier’s Zoom lectures when they were first offered.

Bourdier received the necessary emotional support that she need by having Suki sit next to her during the lesson.

Suki, a loving kitty, came to her owner’s aid when she needed it the most during the emotionally trying time that the COVID-19 lockdown entailed. Bourdier was able to complete her online course with flying colors because of all of the companionship and emotional support that she received from her.

We have every confidence that hearing this heartwarming tale about Suki will persuade you to find a forever home for one of those stray cats at the shelter. You can never be sure what is in store for you.
