This is a wonderful illustration of how a dog from a shelter may have a positive impact on the life of another person…or even save that person’s life! After being rescued from a shelter, Norman, a Labrador Retriever, quickly developed cataracts and went blind.

Despite the fact that he was blind, he was nevertheless able to save the life of a girl who was 14 years old and drowning. This is such a beautiful and heartwarming story!
