Since he first began looking for his misplaced twins, over half a century has passed. The quest has been completed at long last. Nobody ever likes to be parted from their loved ones against their will.

A veteran who had been looking for his children for more than half a century was able to find them after all this time.

Sergeant Allen Thomas, a member of the United States Armed Forces, had not seen his twin sons in more than three decades, but this did not prevent him from continuing his search for them.

At the age of 19, Sergeant Thomas enlisted in the military.

1966 was the year when he was sent to South Korea for his military service. There, he made the acquaintance of Pae Seong-Kuem, whom he would later refer to as Connie. They ended up getting married, and then they had twins. Sandra and James respectively. In addition to that, he legitimately adopted Jae-Im, Connie’s kid from a previous relationship. Up until the point when it was time for him to go back to the United States, he lived in South Korea with a joyful family.

Because he was unable to get passports for Connie and Jae-Im, he left his whole family in South Korea and went back to the United States.

He never stopped writing letters or sending money to his family, even though they lived thousands of miles away. He suffered from a severe case of homesickness.

Therefore, he made a request to return.

He requested a 30-day vacation during the midst of his duty in Vietnam so that he could go back home to South Korea to see his family.

After he had done so, though, he saw that things were already altered between him and Connie. The last time he had to part with them was the most difficult since he just could not see betraying his family in any manner. What Sergeant Thomas didn’t realize was that it would be the last time he ever saw any of his family members again. Watch the video down below to get the whole scoop on what happened!
