A heartbroken young lady broke down in tears after finding her long-lost puppy after just a few days of searching!

With her family and Fergus, Meredith McKay Luckett was in a car that collided with another vehicle. Nobody was hurt, but the 200-pound Irish wolfhound dog vanished following the accident. As soon as everyone stepped out of the vehicle, they began to take care of Fergus.

“We rushed out of the vehicle and tried to locate him, but he was just gone,” Meredith McKay Luckett told the DODO. When he realized what was happening, “he simply ran,” as you would expect.

Despite the fact that the frightened dog had vanished, his family was not giving up. Their neighbors, acquaintances, and even complete strangers all rushed to the scene in less than an hour, but to no avail.

As soon as the accident occurred, “people started scanning the whole region in an effort to assist us to locate Fergus,” the young woman stated. At all times, cars were flashing their lights and slowing down within two miles of the accident location. Incredibly wonderful. ”

Despite the fact that Meredith had given up all hope of ever seeing her gentle giant again, she never gave up and her trust was finally rewarded. Meredith’s family received a phone call only four days after losing him. The search for Fergus is over.

They called while she was still sleeping and said, “We have your dog,” she said. His gentle giant demeanor is undeniable. A big reason we were worried about him being outdoors was that he’s a little diva and prefers to stay inside.

What happened next was really painful for me. A reunion with her buddy Meredith had planned was too much for her when she finally met him. There was no doubt about that, she said.

Fergus was OK, despite the fact that he had been away for a few days. After a quick trip to the vet, he just had a few minor scrapes to deal with. It’s time for the gentle giant to spend some quality time with his loved ones. He is in a predicament that he genuinely enjoys!

It was her human’s opinion, “It’s like he’s king now,” she remarked. Our goal is to make sure he’s comfortable at all times.
