Lizzie Kieffer, a prominent figure, said that her daughter Lilian, who was 12 months old, had away the previous week.

The Instagram content creator, who utilizes her skills in physical therapy and fitness to educate women about health, openly discussed the heartbreaking death of her baby in a social media post that was released on Saturday, April 26. In the post, she said that her daughter, Lilian “Lily” Louise, passed away on April 23.

In the beginning of her address, Kieffer said, “We are shattered.” “When we awoke on Wednesday, we were confronted with a nightmare that we had never dreamed would become our reality. Please accept our condolences.

“Our hearts, our bodies, our souls ache for her as she was the purist of beings and brought light to every single space she filled,” according to her writing. “Our days are written before we were even formed, and in Lily’s 374 days of life, she taught us more than I think many could in their lifetime.”

Her husband, Matt Kieffer, and she do not yet know a great deal about the circumstances surrounding her daughter’s passing; nevertheless, according to Kieffer, physicians have said that Lily, who was 12 months old at the time of her death, had a huge lump on her brain.

“We also have come to learn that Lily had a large mass on her brain that we could have never known about as she never showed signs,” she said to us. “We won’t know more answers with many of these things for months until further testing is done.”

The influencer, who is located in Missouri, also discussed the ways in which her religion has been of assistance to both her and her husband over the last week.

There are no solutions that we can provide, and we do not understand why this is the plan that God has for our life. And unless we return to her at some point in the future, we will never be able to truly comprehend this enigma. A portion of what she wrote included the following: “What we do know is that God is faithful and brings light to the darkest of places.” And we are aware that Jesus and the people who love her are holding Lily in such a strong embrace in paradise. And most likely doing something like riding in her tiny red vehicle or playing in her ball pit up there. We have a sense of her.”

As Kieffer’s family deals with the aftermath of the death of her daughter, she begged for prayers and asks for patience with her business affairs.

“When we come to the conclusion that it is not possible for us to move, our family and friends are holding us.” With that being said, we would want you to know that we are aware of your prayers and support. She continued by saying, “We sense the presence of God all around our family and friends.” “And we ask that you please continue to pray hard for our family as we navigate this extremely tough time.”

The content creator also addressed her daughter directly, saying, “You will always, always be a part of us and although the hole will never be filled, speaking your name will sing through our days bringing joy into the moments.” This was written in a letter that was sent to her daughter.

“You’re our light in this darkness and we know God is holding you in an extra special place,” she said in addition.

It was revealed on March 2 that Kieffer was expecting her third child, which is scheduled to be born in September of 2025. Additionally, the couple is the parents of an older daughter named Mia.

The parents said in an obituary for Lily that the 12-month-old “[adored]” her older sister, “whose every move brought her awe and delight.” Lily’s death was announced on the same day.

“She wrapped herself around her mother’s heart with a bond too deep for words and was a true Daddy’s girl, finding endless comfort and joy in her father’s arms,” according to the funeral announcement. “Her days were full of laughter and play—her favorite moments spent climbing into the ball pit, climbing up the stairs eager for the chase looking back with a giggle, or riding around in her little red car with Mia, the two of them side by side in simple, perfect happiness.”

After her passing, Lily is survived by her parents, her older sister, and her four grandparents. Visitation is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 29, and a funeral mass is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 30. This information is included in the obituary.
