According to Teddi Mellencamp, her father, musician John Mellencamp, has already begun making arrangements for her funeral despite the fact that she is battling cancer.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who is 43 years old, said on the most recent episode of her podcast, Two T’s on A Pod, that she had a morbid chat with the “Jack and Diane” singer, who is 73 years old. This revelation came just a few days after she confirmed that her illness had progressed to stage 4.

Slate, who is 12 years old, Cruz, who is 10 years old, and Dove, who is 5 years old, are the children that Teddi has with her estranged spouse Edwin Arroyave. Teddi said that she asked her father whether there would be sufficient room in the mausoleum for her three children. In November 2024, before she was diagnosed with stage 4, she submitted a petition for divorce from Arroyave, who was 47 years old.
“He’s like, ‘Well, there’s going to be the top five and then we’re gonna have little areas around it, and then that’s where everyone’s going to get buried,'” said Teddi in response.
She said that her father had told her, “You’re doing your will right now, so you may as well put it in there.” This was after she had inquired as to whether or not she had previously been required to make the choice.
It would seem that Teddi was in agreement with John’s request when she informed her co-host Tamra Judge that she would be required to fly to Indiana in order to pay her respects at her location. The phrase “hot girls never die” would be etched on the gravestone, she said. She would have it there.
More tumors were discovered in Teddi’s brain and lungs, according to an update on her health that was provided in March.
