In an extremely rare exhibition of sensitivity for the famed TV judge, Simon Cowell was moved to tears by the voice of a thirteen-year-old child.
An emotional performance by a London kid on Sunday night’s (April 16) Britain’s Got Talent had Simon Cowell in tears.
Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer ensured that 13-year-old Malakai Bayoh would advance to the live semi-finals, and the youthful singer also stunned the seasoned TV judge with his incredible voice.
Malakai, who started singing in the choir at London’s St. George’s Cathedral, Southwark, at the tender age of seven, gave an audition performance of “Pie Jesu” that was nothing short of breathtaking.
Bruno Tonioli, another judge, looked on in stunned astonishment as the youngster sang, while Cowell was seen beaming and crying throughout the performance.

The judges and audience members alike went into a standing ovation as soon as Bayoh completed singing the mesmerizing tune.
With a wink and a grin, Simon Cowell approached the child personally as he stood on stage, basking and soaking in his moment of glory.
Cowell rushed over to praise Malakai on his performance as he was taken aback by the deluge of golden confetti that fell over him.
“Come here,” he said, embracing Bayoh tightly. It was really incredible. This is excellent, I swear. For someone your age, you have one of the most beautiful voices I’ve ever heard. This is just incredible.
