Josh Allen is winning awards left and right, and he has his fiancée Hailee Steinfeld at his side through it all!
On Thursday, February 6, the NFL Honors ceremony took place, and the Buffalo Bills quarterback, who is 28 years old, was awarded the NFL’s Most Valuable Player for 2025, which is the league’s highest honor. Allen, who is also 28 years old, turned to Steinfeld for a kiss as his name was announced. He then walked forward to claim the award.
In his address, Allen spoke to his fiancée as the “last but not least,” saying, “You’ve been my rock, you’re my best friend.” If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be here on this platform.
In his statement, Allen expressed gratitude to his fellow candidates, who included Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, and Lions quarterback Jared Goff. He also praised the entire Bills organization and paid tribute to his parents, who were in the crowd with tears in their eyes.
Allen remarked, “I want to thank my parents, Joel and Lavonne. In my more than 20 years of playing football, going all the way back to Pop Warner, I bet they missed maybe 15 games in their entire lives.”
“They are extremely committed to helping me and my favorite teammates, who are my siblings: my sister, my brother, and my younger sister, Nicala, Jason, and Makenna. I appreciate all of the support you have given me, including the time, money, and energy you have spent on me throughout my life, as well as the time you have spent traveling from meet to game to practice every day. I have a lot of affection for you all. I am aware that you are also quite proud of this.
Allen passed for 28 touchdowns and 3,731 yards this season, guiding Buffalo to a record of 13 wins and 4 losses. He and the Bills were hoping to win the AFC Championship and return to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994, but they were unable to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs once again.
In November, Allen asked Steinfeld to marry him, and the two of them made a joint announcement on Instagram, which is unusual for the pair, who are usually quiet. They posted a beautiful snapshot of Allen kneeling in front of Steinfeld, with both of them encircled by an arch of pink and red flowers near to a body of water. They wrote the caption for the post as follows: ♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️.

Allen and Steinfeld made their first appearance on the red carpet at the NFL Honors. Steinfeld chose a strapless black velvet gown and black pointed-toe shoes. She finished off her appearance with a diamond choker necklace, diamond stud earrings, and her new engagement ring.
Allen, on the other hand, donned a stylish black suit with a white shirt and black tie. He graciously leaned in to photograph with Steinfeld.
