Aaron Rodgers, quarterback for the New York Jets, will be featured in a documentary that will be released on Netflix about his recovery from an Achilles injury. In the documentary, Rodgers will discuss how his controversial opinions have caused him to lose family and friends.

Aaron Rodgers, who is 41 years old, confesses in the trailer for Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, which was published on Tuesday, December 3, that he is “losing friendships, family.” It was incomprehensible to me.

At the beginning of the scenario, he is shown lying down while undergoing a sound bath. View the trailer by clicking here:

On December 17th, the next documentary series made up of three parts will be made available on the streaming platform.

During the trailer, Rodgers is heard saying, “I live between two worlds of the extroverted and an introverted lover of silence.” This statement is made as the movie transitions between him on the football field and engaging in spiritual healings. With the help of Father Time and the expectations, I am attempting to fight them back.

A sports commentator’s voice can be heard stating, “Aaron Rodgers isn’t for everybody.” This is followed by the display of headline items that flash over the screen.

Another speaker adds, “Rodgers has shared controversial and crazy conspiracy theories,” as other news clips are shown.

As part of the series, viewers will hear the professional player talk about the damaged Achilles tendon that ended his season in 2023. In the teaser, conversations from a variety of publications are shown around the question of whether or not Rodgers need to think about retiring from the sport.

In the aftermath of his injury, the quarterback gave an exclusive interview to PEOPLE in which he discussed the effect the event had on his mental health.

“Everything has been a struggle. “Frustration, sadness — a lot of sadness,” Rodgers said in an interview with PEOPLE in November 2023. He also expressed his gratitude to individuals who “showed up” for him, particularly when he had surgery.

“[They] helped me out by bringing me meals, taking care of me, checking on me, calling me, and using FaceTime. Thus, I would want to express my gratitude to everyone who reached out to me,” he stated. “It was a tough time and I was in a rough place.”

Regarding his professional life, Rodgers is heard saying in the teaser, “I’m coming back to do it all.”

It is just a few seconds later that he is shown having a chat with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who inquires as to whether or not he has ever contemplated “going into politics.”

Rodgers said earlier this year that he will not be accepting the invitation to serve as RFK Jr.’s running partner in the presidential election of 2024 after receiving the offer. After that, Kennedy decided to discontinue his independent candidacy for president and embraced President-elect Donald Trump. Since then, Trump has nominated Kennedy to fill the position of Secretary of Health and Human Services for the United States of America.

In a news conference held in May for his team’s OTAs, he said, “I love Bobby Kennedy, we had a couple of really nice conversations, but there were really two options: It was retire and be his vice president or keep playing.” He was referring to the fact that he had two options. “But I wanted to keep playing.”

While Rodgers is talking about the present course of his life in the documentary series that is available on Netflix, he says, “Once I started my spiritual journey, everything shifted.” Currently, the transformation is taking place.

Before the trailer comes to a close, Rodgers makes a passing reference to the fact that he is attempting to figure out what his “football legacy” and his “character legacy” imply.

On December 17th, the film Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, which was directed by Gotham Chopra and Liam Hughes, will be made available on various streaming services.
