Over the course of her extensive 20-year career, Dakota Fanning has worked with a multitude of highly regarded Hollywood celebrities. Fanning discussed her experiences collaborating with famous performers like Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson. One of the most touching stories she told was about her experience working with Tom Cruise in the 2005 film War of the Worlds.

Fanning said that Cruise, whom she regards as a longtime companion, had been sent her an annual birthday present since 2005. During a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Fanning said that her first mobile phone was gifted to her by Tom Cruise. The actress said that her co-star in War of the Worlds presented her with a Motorola Razr as a gift on her 11th birthday.

“I was filled with immense excitement,” she reminisced about this particular time. Nevertheless, Fanning acknowledged that the gift may not have been the most pragmatic choice, as she candidly revealed that she lacked someone to communicate with by phone or text at that particular moment. “I was 11,” she said, followed by the statement, “However, I thoroughly enjoyed possessing it.” I really enjoyed it. I had a sense of self-assuredness and confidence.

During her appearance on the captivating program “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, Fanning affectionately disclosed that Cruise continued his amusing routine. “Since I was 11 years old,” she said, “he has consistently sent me a birthday gift every year. The gifts have always been exquisite.”

Now, almost ten years later, Fanning sometimes ponders if it will cease. “I consistently anticipate that once I turn 18, he will likely cease.” At the age of 21, he will cease. However, on an annual basis. It is really benevolent.

Naturally, Cohen inquired about the nature of these “beautiful gifts,” and to his surprise, Fanning responded rather sensibly, disclosing that they are typically shoes.

Dakota got more than one present from a Hollywood star.

Dakota Fanning reminisced about a present she received from her fellow actor Kurt Russell while working together on the film “Dreamer”. “She stated that Kurt Russell gifted her a horse.”

When asked about her experiences working with renowned figures such as Cruise and Russell from a young age, she said that she did not feel afraid. She attributed this to her upbringing, as she had been used to being around individuals that might be seen as threatening. As a result, she believes that this exposure may have desensitized her to some extent. At the age of 8, one is primarily focused on understanding someone’s true character rather than being preoccupied with other factors, don’t you agree?
