It is true that Bridgit Mendler is a graduate of Harvard!
Earlier this week, the attorney who had previously worked for Disney Channel received her law degree from Harvard Law School and officially graduated.
Within a video that was distributed throughout several social media platforms, Mendler, who is 31 years old, was shown going across a stage while wearing her cap and gown.
According to E! News, both the actress from Good Luck Charlie and her kid, who is four years old, were present at the event.
Mendler is seen in the video accepting her graduation and reaching out to shake hands with two members of the teaching staff. Just before leaving the platform, she and her son, whom she had adopted in 2022, took a moment to stop and give a wave to a member of the crowd.
In 2021, Mendler started attending Harvard University in order to get her Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, as stated on her LinkedIn profile. While she was a student at the university, she served as the co-president of the Harvard Space Law Society during the years 2022 to 2023.
In addition, the celebrity has a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he is going through the process of earning a doctoral degree from the same institution.
In an earlier post that was published on X, which was once known as Twitter, Mendler discussed her academic pursuits.
“It came to my notice that something on my LinkedIn page is generating misunderstanding that I want to clarify: I am 2 months away from a JD and I don’t already have a PhD,” the “Ready or Not” singer said.
“The PhD is something I started working towards in 2020 and I pursued it jointly with my law degree but when I moved to California last summer and decided that for family reasons we would stay on the west coast, it had to go on pause,” she proceeded to explain.
Mendler continued by saying, “I am truly sorry; I really ought to have updated my LinkedIn page sooner instead.” I will continue to fight for it, but the manner in which it is finished is at the discretion of the administration and my lead investigator, and they will decide what they believe to be suitable.
As of right now, the woman who played Lemonade Mouth is serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Northwood Space, a business that is attempting to establish a “data highway between earth and space.”
With the goal of increasing access to space, we are in the process of creating shared ground infrastructure from the ground up. According to what Mendler stated in her statement, “despite the fact that we have a lot of work ahead of us, that is the fun part.”
She assisted in the establishment of the business, and her husband, Griffin Cleverly, whom she wed in October 2019, is now serving as the chief technology officer for the organization.
Mendler said that she came up with the concept for the firm as she was spending time with her family during the COVID-19 epidemic while she was traveling.
