There was a memorial ceremony organized by Jill for her and Derick Dillard’s baby, Isla Marie, who had passed away before birth.

During the memorial ceremony for her daughter, Jill Duggar was able to count on the support of her family.

On Wednesday, the star of Counting On released yet another collection of photographs from the memorial ceremony that was conducted in honor of Isla Marie, the baby that she and Derick Dillard had named after their stillborn child.

Beginning with a picture of her and Derick strolling together while being given a pink balloon, the photo carousel began with a similar picture. After that, the article continues with a collection of photographs that show Jill, Derick, their children, and other members of the family holding balloons that are going to be released in Isla’s name.

Despite the fact that they are no longer in contact with one another, Jim Bob Duggar, Jill’s father, is shown in the middle of the photographs.

The news that Jill and Derick’s fourth child, and only daughter, had been stillborn was revealed in a post that was both devastating and posted the previous week.

” 💔Isla Marie Dillard, our lovely baby daughter, passed away during the delivery process. It is with great sadness that we share the news of her passing. When we learned that our baby had passed away while it was still in the womb, Jill was four months pregnant and due in August,” the couple said in a post that they shared together on Instagram.

They went on to say, “From the moment we came to the realization that we were expecting a child, we couldn’t wait to meet our child.” Isla was warmly adored from the moment she was born, and her three older brothers couldn’t wait to show her the world they had created for themselves. We appreciate your prayers as we continue to mourn and recover after the loss of our daughter Isla Marie. 😭🩷.”

Tuesday was the day when Jill and Derick revealed a collection of photographs that were taken at the memorial ceremony that took place the previous Friday.

The newborn girl we have named Isla Marie. We will continue to adore you till the end of time and keep you in our hearts until we are able to embrace you in paradise. 🩷 “Laid to rest 4.19.2024 #stillbirth #dillardbabygirl #islamarie #lovedforever,” she and Derick captioned the joint picture that contained a little white box with Isla’s bones, toys, plush animals, and other items in memory of their daughter, who passed away some time ago.

In 2023, Jill gave an interview to ET in advance of the publication of her book, which was titled Counting the Cost. During that time, she discussed the strained connection she had with her family, which she had previously portrayed in the TLC series 19 Kids and Counting.

The Counting On actress said that she still loves her family despite the stress that was there in the situation.

I believe that it would be beneficial for some of my siblings to read and listen to our viewpoint on our experience, which may have been skewed in some way. “I believe that it might be beneficial for them to hear our story, but at the same time, I believe that it might be liberating for some of my siblings,” she said in an interview with ET. I believe that if it helps them, if it frees them, if it gives them their voice, and if it empowers them, then I believe that to be a great thing. I would be overjoyed if each and every one of them read it.
