After reading an advertisement for a dairy firm on his podcast, Jason Bateman is now facing the wrath of the Animal Protection (PETA) organization, which is not happy with him at all… As TMZ has discovered.
The animal rights organization has sent a fresh letter that was received by TMZ. In the letter, the organization criticizes the actor for spreading what they refer to as “false and misleading marketing claims” on an episode of his “Smartless” podcast produced in March.
To be more specific, PETA takes issue with Jason’s assertion that Organic Valley, a firm that produces dairy products such as milk, offers things that are ethically obtained from small family farms. PETA contends that the cows that are utilized for dairy production are hurt throughout the collecting process.
According to PETA, cows that are utilized for the production of dairy products for mass consumption are generally linked up to machines and milked twice or more per day, rather than being allowed to nurse their young. Over and over again, these cows are artificially impregnated in order to guarantee a steady supply of milk. This is not a pleasant process, but it is necessary in order to guarantee milk production.

As a result of this procedure, which the charity organization refers to as a “vicious cycle,” the cows in issue are eventually treated to traumatic experiences. According to PETA, the dairy business is responsible for the regular abuse of cows, which they claim leads to respiratory problems, udder infections, and other mistreatments.
The organization is concerned about Jason’s advertisement because they believe it might lead the general public astray. As a result, they have requested that Jason refrain from running the promotion on his show.
In the past, Jason has found himself in conflict with PETA on many occasions. In 2019, PETA criticized a Hyundai Super Bowl advertisement that featured Jason and parodied a vegan dinner party as being offensive. The advertisement featured Jason.
Jason has been contacted, but we have not received a response as of yet.
