This former cast member of “Beverly Hills, 90210” has been open and honest about her diagnosis of stage 4 cancer.

The latest information on Shannen Doherty’s cancer diagnosis, which is stage 4, is now positive.

A conversation between the former cast member of Beverly Hills, 90210 and her radiation oncologist, Dr. Amin Mirhadi, was included in the most recent edition of the Let’s Be Clear podcast, which was published on Monday night. During their conversation, the presenter and the physician spoke about Doherty’s personal experience with cancer, as well as how the actress navigates through information on cancer and avoids making comparisons between her illness and that of other people.

As she discussed a new therapy, Doherty, who had been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer for the first time in 2015, provided a favorable update on her condition.

In the course of her discussion of situations in which Dr. Mirhadi has seen events turn around after being quite terminal, Doherty revealed her own “miracle.”

“I’m not gonna say what it is, I’m on a new cancer infusion and after four treatments, we didn’t really see a difference and everybody wanted me to switch, and I just kinda was like, ‘We’re gonna keep going with this and see,'” according to her. We were able to see the blood-brain barrier being broken down after the sixth or seventh treatment, which is a significant achievement. Should I refer to it as a miracle? It’s true. Personally, I consider it to be a miracle at this very moment. ‘Let’s keep going,’ I murmured, kind of like I was playing a game of chance.

It was reported by the actress from Charmed that her second oncologist was OK with her continuing the therapy, and with his assistance, she was able to achieve some encouraging outcomes.

“And the fact that it is actually going to break down that blood brain barrier is actually a miracle of that drug, a miracle of maybe God intervening and saying, ‘I’m going to give her a break.'” She continues by saying, “There are times when you start looking for miracles in all the wrong places, and then you find them right in front of your face.”

Furthermore, Doherty said that keeping a positive outlook as well as hope has been beneficial to her struggle. This is something that she has discussed.

There are so many new things in the works that I believe there is always hope. Every day is a gift, and there are so many new things in the works. “I believe that it is of utmost significance,” she adds. I may pass away right now, or I could pass away in twenty years; I have no idea. Whatever happens, I may end up passed if I were to step outside of my home and a tree were to fall on me or a bus were to strike me. On the other hand, I may pass away from cancer. “But all I can do is live each day in as much of a positive manner and with as much hope as I can, and I will embrace it and feel like, ‘Wow, I get to wake up again today, what can I do?'”

She continues by saying, “I believe that the positivity that you bring into your life, I think it helps with your entire body.” To my mind, it is beneficial to your battle against the disease. Some degree of control over the situation”

It was disclosed in the year 2020 that Doherty’s breast cancer had returned and was now in the fourth stage. After then, throughout the course of the year 2023, Doherty disclosed that the disease had spread to both her brain and some of her bones.
