When the country music diva was being interviewed by PEOPLE about her new line of baking ingredients with Duncan Hines, she expressed how delighted she is that her goddaughter and partner, who is 31 years old, has been nominated for an astounding six Grammy Awards at the forthcoming 66th annual Grammy Awards.
“I couldn’t be happier for her,” the legendary musician proclaims. “I just hope that she is able to win as many as she possibly can.”
Specifically, the singer of “Jolene” expresses her desire that Cyrus’s No. 1 hit “Flowers,” which is now in contention for the awards of record of the year, song of the year, and best pop solo performance, be given the attention that she believes it is due.
