After having a conversation with Nischelle Turner of ET at the ELLE Women in Hollywood event on Tuesday, the New Girl actress, who is 43 years old, made it very apparent that even if she and her fiancé, who is 45 years old, are still in the early stages of the planning process, there are some things that cannot be negotiated.
Deschanel said, “We’re, like, very, like, chill, you know,” referring to the group. “We haven’t figured anything out just yet, but it’s fun to, like, talk about.”

Together with her ex-husband, Jacob Pechenik, Deschanel has two children: a boy named Charlie who is six years old and a daughter named Elsie who is eight years old.
In terms of how they want to spend their first vacations together as a couple who is engaged, she adds that they will make an effort to reduce the amount of stress that they experience as much as possible.
