In February of 2023, Chloe gave an interview to TODAY in which she reflected on the legacy left by her mother. She also disclosed further information about her dying days, including the words she spoke before passing away.
Chloe said that the last words she could get up to address her were, “My sunshine.” “And she was cracking jokes right up until the moment that she lost the ability to speak.”
Chloe said, “I adore my mom beyond anything else in the world. Do you know that she is my mother? She is not Olivia Newton-John to me, but I am so happy that she was Olivia Newton-John for so many other people.
It was clear that Newton-John had a special place in the hearts of many people, and Chloe acknowledged the significant impact that Newton-John’s admirers had on her ability to cope with the loss of her mother. “In all actuality, it served as a life raft. “It has been like receiving a warm embrace from the entire universe,” she remarked. “And I’m very thankful to everyone who reached out to us and extended their heart and their connection,” she said.

Chloe said that she and Newton-John had spent time together watching paranormal programs and discussing the possibility of the former coming back to life after the latter’s demise. “While we were watching these paranormal shows, I’d tell you, ‘You gotta show up for me.'” “And she was all like, ‘I’ll show up as one of those orb things.'”
Easterling had also mentioned having a sighting of the glowing globe of blue light. “I took a picture, and this blue orb is right between my eyes,” according to him. “It’s been a supernatural year.”
Chloe commented further on Newton-John’s enduring influence and expressed that, in her eyes, the late singer was “nothing but love and light, giving and good.” She went on to say, “And so, for me, it means supporting anybody who is going through it and putting an end to cancer all together.” Trying to keep her hope, as well as her spirit, alive. And doing so means respecting the path my mother has traveled.’
