Beyoncé is having a party in honor of Megan the Stallion!
Beyoncé, who is 42 years old, said on Thursday on her Instagram account, “My H-Town sister, thank you for gracing the RENAISSANCE TOUR,” referring to the event that took place on September 23 when the rapper joined her onstage to sing their Grammy-winning duet “Savage (Remix).”
“Until next time,” Beyoncé wrote with a carousel of photographs of herself and Megan shot in Houston’s NRG stadium. The pictures featured the two of them performing in matching camouflage print outfits featuring studs and glitter.
Beyoncé danced around a pole on top of a tank wearing a pair of camouflage thigh-high boots while Megan, 28, walked around the platform wearing a camouflage headgear.
Megan published her own Instagram post commemorating the concert the next day, which was the day after it had taken place. Megan posted a video of herself standing in her stage camouflage appearance with the caption, “BEYONCE I LOVE YOU HOUSTON I LOVE YOUUU #renaissancetour @beyonce GOODNIGHT.” The video was accompanied by the hashtag, “renaissancetour.”
On September 26, the rapper shared a new gallery of pictures from the performance with the description “Thee real Htown Hottie.”
A TikTok video of the performance was also uploaded to her account, and it included footage of her shedding tears of joy since Beyoncé had invited her to perform on stage alongside her.
“Yall, I have been ugly crying with my lace lifting all weekend lol i will never stop screaming about this moment!” “Yall, I will never stop screaming about this moment!” Megan penned a touching message for the photo. I have been a huge fan of @beyonce for my whole life, and this means the world to me!! I want you to know how much I appreciate all you’ve done for me and how much I love you.
Beyoncé was born in the city of Houston, while Megan was raised there after being born in San Antonio, Texas. However, both singers consider Houston to be their home city. The singer known for “Halo” made a proud reference to Houston in the lyrics of her song “Run the World (Girls)” from 2011. The song’s lyrics included the phrase “This is how they made me (made me), Houston, Texas, baby.”
In the meanwhile, in the year 2022, Mayor Sylvester Turner of Houston made the announcement that May 2 will henceforth be celebrated as “Megan Thee Stallion Day” in the city.

At a ceremony to honor the “Plan B” performer, Turner stated the following: “Megan Thee Stallion has an extraordinary entertainment career, but we wanted to honor her for what she does offstage to lift people’s lives in underserved communities.”
“She helped people after the 2021 winter storm, during the pandemic, and assisted those who were struggling with homelessness,” he noted. “I look forward to watching her grow as an artist and humanitarian.”
