It is a widely held belief that dogs and cats are natural enemies, and that it is very difficult to forge a friendship between the two species.

In spite of this, you will be moved after reading this tale of a dog and a cat who develop a potential connection with one another.

It so happened that a dog with a kind heart took in two frightened kittens, and the adorable bond that developed between them finally captured the hearts of everyone else.

As soon as the kind-hearted Asa noticed that two stray kittens had been discovered in the backyard and were in need of assistance, she hurriedly snatched them up and brought them inside.

Approximately 11 weeks old, really cautious and terrified, two very little souls.

Asa had a dog called Kona. The first thing that caused her concern was how her dog would respond to the new kittens.

On the other hand, she had nothing to worry about since Asa’s sympathetic companion took extremely well to the new members of the family.

Asa has a deep and abiding passion for animals. Over the course of her life, she has helped over 160 neglected and abandoned animals find homes with caring people.

On the other hand, she has never seen her adored dog be as dedicated to another animal as she is to these two adorable kittens who go by the names Blair and Chester.

As soon as they had made eye contact with one another, Kona had already fallen in love with them and was quickly beginning to console and guard them.

It seems that she has assumed the role of either their foster mother or their nanny.

Because of the difficult existence they had to endure on the street, the tiny kittens were filled with fear and confusion.

They started off being afraid of humans, but with care, compassion, and the efforts of a dog that was beneficial to them, they quickly learnt to become sociable and were successfully socialized.

Now that they have found a loving friend in Kona and a good guy in Asa, Chester and Blair are pleased to live in a permanent home that is warm and inviting.
