After making appearances in a number of Aaron Spelling series during the 1980s and 1990s, Heather Locklear became a well-known celebrity. She is most known for her performances as Sammy Jo Carrington on the television show “Dynasty” and Amanda Woodward on the show “Melrose Place.” Throughout the next several decades, she maintained a career as an actress in both television and movies. It would seem that she has lately taken a sabbatical from her acting career in Hollywood, since her most recent appearance was in the film “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story,” which was released in 2021.
Her private life gained almost as much notoriety as her work in the movies did. From 1986 to 1993, Heather Locklear was married to musician Tommy Lee of the band Motley Crue. During their marriage, Locklear and Lee were a classic rock ‘n’ roll pair. However, after their separation, Locklear had a romantic relationship with Richie Sambora, who was the guitarist for Bon Jovi at the time. They welcomed their first child, a girl they called Ava Sambora, in 1997 after being married in 1994. Their marriage, on the other hand, did not survive, and in 2006 they initiated the divorce process.
At this point in time, Ava is 25 years old and developing into a shrewd young lady. She earned her bachelor’s degree when she was 23 years old and, at this point in her life, looks to be following in the footsteps of both of her parents by pursuing a career in the entertainment business. Ava, in the meanwhile, has been quite vocal about how much support she receives from both of her parents. She discussed the support that Sambora has provided her with over the years in an interview she gave to People in the year 2020. In her words:
He has been such a pillar of support for me for the whole of my life. He has been an incredible supporter of me and all of my goals over the years.
She went on to say that
“My dad loves me with every ounce of himself, and I am so lucky to be able to call myself his daughter.”
Ava has also relied on Locklear for a significant amount of assistance since the latter has guided her through “very debilitating” episodes of anxiety. A previous interview she gave to People revealed that despite the fact that she lived an hour away from her mother, Locklear “would drive over and visit (her)” whenever her daughter had an anxiety episode. She went on to say that
“No matter what time of day it was, she would drop whatever she was doing and rush over to offer me some solace. She would remain on the phone with me late into the night, even after I said she did not have to, until I was finally able to go asleep since I was no longer anxious.
In addition, Locklear “did everything she could to help” her daughter get through the tough months they were going through. Ava continued by saying that she also went with her to the doctor’s visits and provided her with “tons of books on managing anxiety.”
Throughout the years, Locklear has never stopped praising her daughter’s many accomplishments. As Ava’s birthday approached in October 2022, she took to Instagram to wish her a happy day and wrote, “I love you to the moon and back!!” During the month of February in the year 2023, Locklear published another post with the description “Pure love.”
In April of 2023, Locklear posted a picture of the invitation that Ava had sent to her for her graduation from the University of Southern California, which was the institution that Ava had attended to get her master’s degree in marital and family counseling. Locklear’s post was shared on Instagram. Ava responded on the post with a beaming smile, “I love you, mama!”
And eventually, in May of 2023, Locklear told the world how pleased she was of her daughter for obtaining her master’s degree. Locklear’s daughter had been working hard to achieve her goal. She snapped a picture of Ava on stage when she was receiving her Master of Science degree in marital and family counseling. The photo included a caption stating that Ava had successfully completed all of the requirements for the degree. This is what Locklear wrote as the post’s caption:
“Such a proud mother. Congratulations, my sweet child, on earning your master’s degree in MFT! Because of your dedication, dogged determination, and kind spirit. ”
Ava has written a number of heartfelt comments in the comment area of this article. One of them exclaimed, “My mama!!! Thank you very much!!”” You might also say something like “I love you to the moon and back.”
It is quite evident that Ava is cherished by both of her parents and receives a great deal of love and support from them. In addition to this, it seems that every member of the family is quite supportive of the other members. We have no doubt that Ava’s parents are overjoyed by everything that she has accomplished.
